I strongly suspect Mr Stewart will act.
He's a highly successful person and folks on here should remember that rather than slagging him off.
Try asking what have I achieved by comparison?
I was under the impression that payments to previous managers stopped or were seriously reduced if they took another job.
Form is clearly a worry. More of a concern (personally speaking) is the availability shifts. Agbaire suddenly back, Nombe completely absent, Gore missing... hard to avoid speculation when this happens.
Defensive experiment needs pausing, we need to be able to operate with a 4. Midfield sorely missed Gore. Pace missing all over and it hurt our forward options as well as leaving us exposed at the back (their left winger was absolutely rapid). Hugill needs a break. Subbing Etete off on 52 minutes seemed odd timing, but other subs then turned out to be equally odd.
Not a good time, but I'm not convinced the team most were much happier with at the start of December is suddenly beyond repair. Obviously problems, also clear a handful have been waiting for a poor run to push whatever the agenda is.... both will pass. TS seemingly giving no fu**s about the club is more worrying to me as we head into January, filling me with concerns that our better players may be given away cheaply.
Mr Stewart should have realised by now that it is very rare in life that you dont get what you pay for. But, that seem to have escaped him in more recent years when it comes to managerial appointments.
He had a real opportunity with warnock and failed to splash the cash. He also had a real opportunity with Warne and failed to invest at a time when it was starting to click.
He has two options now. Sell up or go for it with a real investment and backing. I dont mind which to be honest but act now.
Here we go again, Alex Revell. Yes, lets sack another manager, pay him off and then stump up a bit more compensation to Stevenage, for their bang average manager.
I take it you know he was sacked at Stevenage once before for being rubbish? His team play **** boring football. They won't go up, they're garbage. If he came here, our fans would only be whinging about hoof ball within a month and wanting him gone as well.
Half the reason we're in this mess is because fans like you wet the bed at the first sign of trouble, instead of looking past the result and trying to understand that what we actually need right now as a football club is some kind of stability.
