I watched the blubbing announcement of the demise of the Ayatollah on Iranian State TV and thought good riddance. I don’t like Trump as a person but he gets things done. Unlike our very own windbag PM. What comes next? I don’t know. Many Iranians would like nothing better than to get the Islamic monkey off their back and reclaim their very own Persian culture. I completely sympathise with that.
