This site is becoming increasingly more frustrating with it being impossible to access on match days now. I'm even considering joining the New Playground😀

In all seriousness, I may be tempted to do what Prando has done and use both but one problem is that I'm an old git now and rather stuck in my ways so don't particularly like change ( being a bit of a technophobe doesn't help either!). The other problem-the biggest one-is that I like all the regular contributors to this site, I enjoy and look forward to the banter and the discussions on here with you all.

Of course there have been some unwarranted issues on here in the past that sadly led to the likes of Mick and Soulman leaving but things have since improved a lot. Disagreements over stuff (mostly politics of course &#128512 remain, but it would be very strange if there were not and any debates seem far more respectful than they had been at times in the past.

I haven't "looked over the fence" as 68 puts it and am only aware of Regis and Boingy (and this "John" character &#128513 and certainly have no issues with either of them but do understand 68's concerns over any potential "welcoming" issues that some individuals may have.

In any event, unless this site fails completely and unless everyone here also moves over I'm likely to stick with this one for the time being. I just hope it can get sorted!

To be fair Omeg and I know a lot about web development- it will be on a shared platform so like thousands of sites it can be hard to access with volume of traffic at times. That site has had issues too and John has said he would like to come on here - more for him to engage in with accurate footie banter as opposed to continually saying I beg to differ with others which is tedious. Even Regis posts on here a lot so what does that say😭. In their own words there?s been lots of posters registering and have disappeared including Dubs!

I like many others will stay on here until the lights are switched off and even then not go on that site as it?s boring with no other topics and being told we are a great team blah blah and we are far from it. The table never lies!!!!

PS - as 68 says it tells a lot too about sniping and looking over the garden fence. In life you should move on if something else is more successful but as Dubs clearly found out - it?s not.

Noticed your new site is members only now, presumably to drum up membership numbers and increase interest. And to keep snidey comments behind closed doors too presumably. Fair enough. No skin of my nose to be honest. All of the very best with the site and to all who post on there. I won't be joining though. Never really fancied living in a gated community. Toodeloo.

We?ve got 50 odd members registered. Dubs is on but has not posted here or on the other side for a while. Since we locked the forum we?ve had more engagement and I think generally everyone has appreciated that. You both can make snide remarks too but i?m starting to see why they might be made about you.

You bag on about the other site not having enough posts, who cares? It was only created due to lack of accessibility and functionality of this site. Are you telling me that this site is popular with threads from a variety of people?

I seem to remember you starting one about Lloyd prior to that which was pretty much just as bad. No idea whether you were pissed at the time or just thought you'd be a cnut for s hits and giggles but I remember it well enough despite your later limited self reproach for said thread.

Be careful not to do the same over the fence as you don't want to upset any of your more sensitive members, some of whom will undoubtedly remember it as well. I didn't bother saying anything about you being just as culpable for Lloyd's exit as BaggieBlood at the time because as I've previously stated, we're all responsible for what we post. But I have to say it showed even less class than your response here. All of the very best to you and yours Regis .

I will admit that I have in the past made remarks to soulman, like one or two others have.. but that was way before the spat you’re talking about.

You drew yourself into it when you started that thread Regis. Nothing to do with me. Nice try at deflecting blame though. Lloyd's free to make his own mind up about what happened at the time and whether he signs up to your new site. Meanwhile I think you're wrong because I don't think I am remotely mistaken, cumulative effect and all that. I also think you stayed away for a while because you knew full well you'd messed up.
