Musk opinions is that if every single person I know.
Musk is elected in USA by the POTUS. If something is bad/evil call it out. You seem to agree with that but don't seem to agree solely down to the fact that Musk is not a UK resident. That's just weird.
First, he isn't elected he is nominated. There is a fundamental difference between the two and if you don't understand that it goes some way to explaining your views. Secondly, he isn't simply expressing an opinion, he is suggesting UK government ministers be assaulted and promoting the overthrow of a duly elected government simply because he doesn't agree with how it is governing. That's treason, here or in the USA.

There are as many opinions in matters as there are people, Musk throws his weight about because he can and his ownership of tw4tter gives him a platform few others enjoy.

Let him resolve all the myriad issues facing the citizens of the USA before he seeks to advise others.

Musk isn't saying anyone should be assaulted. He states free speech is no longer a given in the UK.
Musk is against child rape and the cover ups that go on and on. Musk is against mass illegal immigration. Musk believes the UK Government is incompetent.
    None of this is treason.
Everyone ought to feel this and nearly everyone does but many people are too scared to say anything.
He is standing up for ordinary UK people and simply what's right and wrong as we've lost all that in the UK.
He will work on fixing USA but speaking out on these matters should be applauded. You and Keir Starmer plus Starmers cronies are the only ones who disagree.

Amongst other things, Musk has accused a British Prime Minister of being complicit in the ***ual abuse of vulnerable girls,, he HAS suggested that there are government ministers who should be assaulted, read his "contributions" on tw4tter. Those statements and the promotion of the concept of overthrow of a democratically elected government by an external body (state or otherwise) IS treasonable, and applies to anyone, irrespective of their nationality.

Perhaps, if he (and you) spent a few moments actually researching the current situation there would be a better understanding that whatever the criticisms of the new government, they recognise that since the report on child ***ual abuse chaired by Prof Alexi Jay, published in 2022 NOTHING has been done to implement the various recommendations that the report contained, and they assert (And Prof Jay has publicly agreed) that another enquiry, as promoted by the likes of Musk and others) is unnecessary, What is required is the implementation of the reports recommendations as is the stand of the current government. Perhaps if Musk and others wants to criticise anyone, that criticism should be aimed at the previous government(s) but as the right wing Conservatives were in power for the previous 14 years, it might not fit with his (and others) wish to gain political capital?

Of course the vast majority of right-minded people (in a non-political sense) want action and for those who perpetrate these vile crimes against vulnerable girls to be swiftly and harshly punished. The population of the UK DOES NOT NEED Elon Mush to "stand up" for them Firstly, he has no "status" in the UK, despite his clear wish for it to be otherwise, he caries no governmental weight, only a willingness to, as i Put it in my previous post, to throw his weight around like any bully with a big stick is likely to do.

You and Musk and his ilk make a great many assertions about free speech, the incompetence of government (Look in the mirror I would suggest), with little or no evidence to support them. Speaking out on matters is fine, suggesting some form of resolution would be at least an indication of a level of understanding of the issue, but thats just too much to ask for.

Post #353 is the second time you have implied that I see fit to muzzle the discussion of the child *** abuse issue and/or that I condone such activity. Be careful.

Oh and newscast, Meta owner Zuckerberg gas confirmed that Facebook and Instagram will be abandoning independent fact checking, so it looks like the visit to Trumps Florida mansion (and the small financial contribution) are already paying dividends.

So folks can publish whatever sh1te they like, with whatever degree of factual accuracy, and no-one will validate the truth of whatever is posted. Free speech or unadulterated and unfettered lies? No-one will ever know now.

Maybe you should look at Labour?s aim to cancel some local elections next year under the tenuous auspices that the boundaries may change in the next few years.

Mind informing us of who determines what is a lie and what isn't? The "independent fact checkers" that consisted of 98% democrat? Would that be the same people that advised us that there was nothing harmful being injected in people during the Tuskegee trials? Would that be the people that said Florida and New York city would be underwater by 2020? Would that be the same people that said that the vaccine prevented covid? Would that be the same people would said that inflation would be transitory?

Maybe it would be best for people to make their own independent assessment when something is true or not. I trust my own judgement a lot better than I trust a politician, a journalist or some government bureaucrat to tell me what is truth and what is not. Feel free to believe anything your government tells you but I'll take my chances of determining when I'm being lied to and when I'm not.

I'll give a simple hint that might serve you well. Whenever you are being told something that you question "follow the money". Figure out who gains monetarily and you'll usually figure out who's lying and who's not. Another hint.... if it's a politician assume that they all lie unless you can verify otherwise.

That hint? Who gains monetarily from the drivel emanating from Trump and his acolytes, you or them?

Suggest you (and anyone else who gives credence to the nonesense from Musk in tw4tter), might care to listen to someone instrumental in exposing the grooming gangs and who worked with Kier Starmer when he was head of the Crown Prosecution Service to radically improve conviction rates for those crimes.

The man gave over 4 years to that set of investigations and blew the lid off the subject. Free speech is dead huh?

Jeepers just had a scroll through this and there's some proper knuckle draggers on this forum.

Musk just so you're all clear is doing what he's doing for personal gain, half of what he says is lies and the parts that are true are inflated x10. He bought a social media platform to win an election by doing the exact same stuff, though with Kamala as the opposition he didn't need to bother.
