Just what we needed after the Torquay debacle. When Sus*** scored 375 after being asked to bat, and then reduced Notts to 52-4, I feared the worst. Then a great captain’s innings by Steve Mullaney and a maiden century from young Joey Evison, batting at No.9, turned the game on its head. Well done “The Other Notts!”

Not just top of the league, but 8 points clear at the top. Because all the other games were drawn, we already have a 12 point cushion on the other promotion place. To be honest it would be a big failure if we don't go up this season, but nothing but praise for this performance.

Notts: 250-4 to 300 all out. Pathetic!

Certainly disappointing. A promising 258/4 turned into a moderate 302.

    Some early wickets needed tomorrow.

Watching the live stream earlier and there were Glamorgan fans texting in saying how well they were doing against Notts, the division favourites, as underdogs. They don't seem to be aware that their side is made up of only four Welshman, but also includes four overseas players, including Marnus Labuchagne.

Still a very poor performance from Notts, especially the batsmen. This wasn't a difficult wicket to bat on, but we didn't get anywhere near enough runs. Ben Duckett escapes any criticism, but the rest of the top order let him down badly.
