This is quite an interesting thread if you ignore Dwease and Oz trying to drag it down as usual. Baaa Rockleys ban the PFC fan idea was wide of the mark sadly. Ban the w*nkers was a far better shout.

    Yep, we hear you Hugh.
This is not a banning board so you're probably ok for a while yet.

Our fake astranaut does concern me. I'm sure there's a for people who lie about themselves on line in order to groom others.

[quote="cunninglinguist"]I am not sure what our aspirations are now that we are in the Prem. Clearly we should be aiming for European games, winning the league and wining the FA Cup, however, after our as yet unexplained fielding of a junior team for the FA Cup, what were we aiming for this season other than survival? Nothing wrong with that as such, other than the well know issue that the good players are going to aim for more than we have achieved and arguably can achieve without spending the silly money required. So is the aim to stay in the prem to ensure the TV money keeps coming in, or do we really have expectations to reach the top?

My point about the lower leagues was that it felt like everyone had an equal chance more or less. Everyone had a crack at the JPT, and anyone could win the league and be promoted. I just don't see that with the Prem and hope I am wrong, but I dont see Saints breaking into

I think that's a disservice to the teams in the Skrill. If the league pyramid goes lower than the Skrill, then po**eys natural level would be somewhere below that if weekly success is the single thing they crave.

At the start of the season my realistic hope was 50 points and a top 10 finish, mission accomplished and i'm very pleased.

Whilst i enjoyed our time in league 1 we couldn't keep our best young players. In the years we were out of the prem we saw the emergence of Walcott, Bale, Surman, Dyer, Mills, Baird, Jones and Oxlade Chamberlain, they all left too soon because they wanted to play at a higher level. Thats what happens nowadays and the only way we have any chance of keeping hold of our best players is being a premiership team.

The most enjoyable thing this season has been witnessing the talismanic performances of Adam Lallana which have been a joy to behold, if we weren't in the prem, he wouldn't still be playing for Saints imo

Anus! I'd also say that top Premier League teams, like Southampton, have a much better chance of winning major trophies, like the FA Cup, League Cup & Europa League, than lower league teams do.

All in all, I'd much rather see my team near the top of the football pyramid than near the bottom of it.

FFS you keep reminding us you spent all those years in the top flight so it kinda contradicts about 'top' premier teams chances of winning things doesn't it?
Any way i go away for a day or two and nothing changes on here, dwease won't say sorry and oz swears and scares.

How weird that a pervert with an obsession with anuses is offended by people swearing and wants them to apologize to him.

There are some real oddballs on the internet.

The same oddball that predicted a relegation battle for Saints this season, and po**ey to be promoted as champions.

    Nostradamus, he ain't..
