    ray didn't definitely say you were right. you should know better than anyone how use of words such as 'probably' exempts you from commitment.

    anyway on that topic let me give you an analogy. I dropped into bensons for beds today. had a go on a lovely tempur mattress. not knowing how much it was I asked the sales assistant. he said £2200.

    now, I didn't think it was worth £2200. I might have paid £1000. I don't mind a barter now and then. did I offer him anything? no. why? too much disparity between the asking price and what I was willing to pay.

    Yes, he's never been a defender. I think the issue about giving away free kicks is simply experience rather than any slight on his ability.

    As for being light weight, I don't agree now. Last season yes, he could be muscled out of games and there have been occasions where he's struggled because teams have been kicking lumps out of him as that's the only way they can get the ball from him. But I've also se
