I have no desire to be watching football in the summer months as these months are given over to the cricket and tennis seasons. Football is a winter game to be played in cold wet conditions.[/quote]

    Uche!

Not seen him play in the flesh, will be first time tomorrow..does he bring anything to the team or is he more of an individual player ?

For me his is more of an individual player who, at his best, occupies 2 or 3 of the opposition and leaves space for others. Hardly ever gets his head up or passed to Ajose when he was here BUT what he does bring is a real 'up and at em' style which really got the crowd going last time he was at Gresty Road and that, in turn, means the team responded to the crowd.

    Does that make sense?

It makes good sense, I think actually it is a very good question...and maybe the answer will only be fully known after the next few games.

    re: Uche!

I'm in agreement with Aston Alex on this. I think that sums his style nicely, but he's also pretty good at 'back to goal' stuff - where he turns and attacks rather than lays off.

However, the squad is very young and these lads go through dips in form that can be a bit long (Brad Inman) or, hopefully, very short (Grant and Ajose). From where I sit - here, figuratively, as well as at Gresty Towers - I think Uche needs to carry on developing aspects of his game and create 'partnerships' with his fellow attackers.

Laying off to someone like Leigh can have remarkable effects and a big guy hanging by the far post has proved useful (thank you Haber).

I remain a big fan of Uche's - just as much I am of everyone who is performing to a standard that keeps us in Div 1.
