Uche!

I see that Uche has been sent back to Watford. Surely we'd all welcome him back with open arms. Davis, snap him up...again.

I heard this on RS tonight and must be because he did nothing at Doncaster and we will all wonder if he may come back? But heard SD say again tonight that the cash is tight and he can't sign anyone uneless someone leaves and he did say that a couple of Championship players were willing to come here but unfortunately? I sensed that Steve knows who he wants but can't sign them and is frustrated as a result. Shows he is really trying though.

We can sign a loan GK anytime though because we just have one permanent one on the books at the mo. He said it depends on how the new GK does over the next two games which may suggest he is not 100% happy?

I can see Usche returnig here somehow...Maybe we could sign him permanently after all?

Would he come back? Would his "Agent" advise him it would be good for his career?. I would love to see him back here personally, and am on the side of him being badly advised in leaving. I think Steve would jump at the chance, assuming that Watford don't get nowty over it.

I have no real desire to see him back here. We have been better since Haber has come back into the side and I never thought I would here myself say that. Haber links up with Ajose better than Uche ever did. In fact Uche didn't really link up with anyone. Enjoyed watching him but his departure left a nasty taste.

If he's fit, affordable and available I'd have him back in a heartbeat. Absolute no brainer to me

I tend to disagree with Timmy on this. The 'nasty taste' seems to have come from Uche following the instructions of his own club and possibly the advice of his agent, with the emphasis on 'instructions'.

Haber had a dip in form and Uche did well as a replacement; and Haber is off to Canada. Last Saturday Ajose was misfiring and not linking with anybody effectively, while Haber and Jones, plus Turton, looked excellent.

The Alex did not coin the word 'inconsistent' but we have a tendency to exemplify it far too much.

It is, however, probably academic - we've not got the cash for Uche.

Disagree totally with Timmy.

Uche was a breath of fresh air, something totally different to what we've got. Apart from the fact that Haber has 1 good game in 10, he isn't actually going to be here for a few games anyway, and when he comes back, it seems to take him a month to get going again. That would leave us with an out of sorts Ajose and an unmatch fit LDV as our strike force.

Uches move was, I suspect, not of his own making and he might be more inclined to put his foot down, if he can, over such decisions in the future.

Whether we have the money - well that's a different issue.

Fair enough, but when Haber is off on international duty we will be left with a huge hole.
