This says it all. We're losing 5-0 on Shots On Target, at home against Oxford City!!
Forget 62% possession, means nothing in the context of this game.

I guess it's a game of 2 attitudes.
Notts attitude manifests itself through a team half made up of fringe players who don't give much of a toss and Oxford's attitude is based on a team who could be playing their last game of the season if they lose. Plus, it's a cup game and we are one of the so called 'giants' and we're rife for a 'killing' at the moment. It's horrible and no more than I expected to be honest.
Not often have I criticised the manager this season, but that was rubbish. One half to sort it out Ardley.
Every week I watch MOTD & marvel at the sight of about 30% of the goals coming from defensive mistakes when being pressed trying to play out from the back. When are managers at all levels going to realise that it's not a good tactic if the opposition know it's coming every time? if multi million £ Prem players can't play that way it's not surprising ours keep cocking up when pressed.
Well we might have depth in the squad if that means numbers but if that first half is anything to go by it doesn’t go deep in ability and talent ! Not asking for too much just passing to a fellow team mate would be a start !
I agree. Some fans have been wondering why some players have not been getting game time, but today so far as demonstrated to me that some are just not at the level they should be at to start regularly. These games are supposed to be an opportunity for fringe players to showcase and push for a first team place.
Oxford City are up for it because they might not play again this season and they want to beat a the biggest club in non-league in our big stadium and are treating it like a cup final. Our players out there need to show they can deal with this and show us much more in the second half than what they have first half. It's not acceptable against a tier 6 team no matter how good they have been recently to be so timid and flat in the final third.

Samtastic. A lesson in silencing the critics. Well probably not on here but you know what I mean.
Delete our texts Elite, super Sam, never ever doubted him
Well that was abysmal. Rotated team or not, yet another 45 minutes where we have been beaten by the high press and have barely managed a shot at goal. This time against a team from the league below who haven't played for week.
It simply is not good enough. I have absolutely no patience for you Ardley sympathisers. Make no mistake, this is awful yet still this man has his supporters.
It's beginning to feel like religion. You are either religious or you aren't. But if you aren't, there is absolutely no point in arguing with those who are as they are in complete denial.
