As an aside does anyone actually know the last time Notts received a transfer fee for a first team player. I’m assuming Ben Davies? If so no wonder we don’t know how to act around all this interest!

Given that our model does appear to be nuture talent and sell on, the sell on is bound to happen at some stage I suppose. Be interesting to see what happens. One thing is for sure we will never know how much! I couldn't see us agreeing to sell any players to national league clubs like Wrexham etc. League 1 clubs an entirely different matter although I would be surprised if many are prepared to pay a fee for anyone at the moment.
