It is a little odd that being the form team in the division, having scored 80 odd goals, with a host of game changing players and a likely home tie in the QF’s that there are so many of us doubting our chances of going up.

The problem is that we’ve all become fully aware that we’re likely to throw in an abject 45 minutes or even a full game of incomprehensible lethargy at any given time for no reason whatsoever. This is why I doubt we will go up unfortunately.

However. Seeing JOB return has lifted my spirits slightly, I think his importance to us is vastly understated.

I have to agree TSANHO, I think we have really missed JOB, for his energy and experience, especially in away games. He might not be the most skilled player, but every team needs the drive and enthusiasm he brings.
He might prove to be what we need in the away and hopefully neutral venues we visit in the play offs.

So nice to see JOB getting some recognition, so underrated. Yes he has his moments but his driving force on the pitch as well as his experience in finding space we couldn't find previously is a real benefit, in fact having him, KC and RB all available at such a crucial time is massive for us and what gives me hope that we will succeed in the play-offs.

JOB did well on Saturday. Gotta say though he has been a been a bit of a liability against some of the better teams. Grimsby away and Chesterfield at home spring to mind. I can definitely see why people think he’s still a useful bloke to have in the side though.

With JOB and Cameron back, we have some better mental resilience at least which does make me a little more confident. The problem is, in the quarter final we will be facing teams that are we play worst against due to their style. I'd be more confident playing Wrexham than I would Grimsby or Cheaterfield. If we can go and win the quarter final, I will be more optimistic

I agree. I've seen a few 'experienced' players over the years who are just serving out time and collecting the pay cheque, but the other type of 'experienced' players are those who combine their knowledge with undiminished hunger and enthusiasm for the game. JOB is definitely in that very valuable latter category. Had to laugh in the second half on Saturday when he won a tackle only to see the ball unluckily ricochet to another opponent, which caused him to quite literally punch the ground in anger!
