And that for me for a start, is impressive considering the appalling position PMG have put us in.
And I give credit to all fans who have renewed, and there could be more now depending on this upcoming choice of coach/manager!.
It's dragged on a bit longer than what it should have done, but we all know how important this decision could be.
7K would match the last season in league one under stendel and would be a decent amount particularly with cost of living rises & would be much higher than many suggested.

As bad as this season has been we were in the play offs for the premier league a year ago so its not as if we have had 5 years of constant decline & crucially the new board with Jean Cryne has given many fans hope that we can at least start moving back in the right direction.

The predictions that ST sales would only reach around 4000 were of course made in the period prior to The Arseoyle being ousted. He was killing the club. The rise in sales since is a direct consequence of hopes for better things ahead after The Arseoyle lost control.

Another reason the season ticket sales predictions were wrong is that most predictions were made on forums like this which tend to be dominated by older grumpy men who like a good whinge, whereas the younger folk just get on with it.

To be honest if I was marooned on a desert island with yourself and a tin of corned beef I'd eat you and talk to the tin of corned beef .

I don’t think for one minute any genuine Barnsley fan would be happy to see our club “GO UNDER”

Season ticket or corned beef? I'd rather eat the season ticket and watch the corned beef

Exactly Poggy, and it's sad that the apologists keep accusing us fans of wanting this. 😕
