outwood, you need to settle down if you are worrying about football giving you a heart attack. Remember, at whatever level and played by whatever gender, it is only a game and is totally unimportant as far a living your life is concerned. It is there to enjoy, win, lose or draw.

Heart attacks amongst spectators at football matches are certainly on the rise Supersub and I have no intention of adding to the statistics!

BT, he is part of the entertainment industry, the fans must enjoy watching him instead of long boot Nick ---don't they?

Our first goal was the result of the ball being launched 60 yards upfield from THB to Jay, and the second also from a long ball through to Tella.

Yes sinkov. THB with long passes right on the money for both opening goals. We have some real pace up front these days and I am really looking forward to seeing how Churlinov slots into our attack. Tella looks a real gem.

I don’t think we need to rule out the value of a long, accurate ball. Not every goal has to follow a sequence of 30 passes.

JRod got into a great position that THB saw and executed. Again the second was a very precise ball to Tella who had made himself available.

To my mind that is very different to lumping it up the pitch and hoping, which is how it was in the recent past.

Mobile forwards will get into positions that can be picked out by a through ball (Cullen to Maatson) or a longer, accurate ball (THB to JRod with lay off to Brownhill).

Isn’t that what everyone has been asking for for a couple of years now? I share Outwood’s optimism and excitement.

I share Outwood’s optimism as well Swiss and it is not often I agree with myself! I am delighted we appear to be keeping Brownhill. He is adding the midfield goals we have been craving for and his contribution will be crucial if we are to achieve automatic promotion or the play offs. We may have only won 1 from our first 5 league games but surely our win percentage is going to improve.

The team needs to gel-Pep did not win anything in his first year with Citeh. This particular style will take months of training simply because it depends on accuracy and movement.I personally love what I am seeing despite the hiccups.Give me this football even in the Championship over the dross we have had over the last 3 seasons in the PL.
If we dont get promoted this year it may be a blessing in disguise as VK will need a few transfer windows to build a team of permanent signings that could compete in the PL.
