So you want me to join you but not actually join you? Aka telling me (and everyone reading this) that there is a Portuguese football match happening in front of a couple of thousand locals lol.

Although far more appealing than the previous times you wanted me to meet you alas my holiday has just finished.

This year we swapped the beautiful Algarve for a gem of a place in the nearby Costa de la Luz. I'm too much of a traveller to go to the same place , however nice it is, year after year after year.

    Yes, that's about it.

We don't class this as a holiday, more living abroad and extending the summer by a month. Should help with the energy bills.

One through tv and another being a Saturday game.

Pubs will lose plenty too id guess with this probably shifted to a midweek.

You can’t argue with the anti-monarchists and left wing rabble.

    Lol

Ahhh yes the benefits of being retired and carefree, I don't blame you one bit

The weather where we've just been was damn near perfect, with absolutely no rain, constant daily highs of 25/26C, a refreshing breeze from the ocean and incredible sunsets with drink in hand.

I’m firmly on the fence on this one, though with some sports going ahead it feels wrong. I started the day thinking correct decision but have moved towards it could have been a great celebration which in my opinion we should be doing as we were very lucky to have someone overseeing our country so well and she should be both celebrated and mourned. End of the day it’s missing one game of football and if it gives clubs a chance to put together a deserving day for her I’m all up for it.

Try telling that to people struggling with gas/leccy bills that have gone through the roof.

Not long ago OUR CLUB had people with buckets out.

Clubs at our level cant afford to lose money its not rocket science is it.

The decision made over The Ledger does seem like madness, and as HRH was such a lover of horse racing, I am sure she would have wanted it to go ahead as planned. This begs the question, will Ascot next year, be called Royal Ascot.
Speaking of horse racing I wonder what will happen to her string of horses, Charles isn't interested so will it all be wound up or maybe Ann or Zara might carry on with it.

It wasn’t the ‘left wing rabble’ who lied to her about proroguing Parliament or who partied while she buried her husband.

As a monarchist you must be furious at those people.
