I think I'd give up on football rather than wanting either of the cheeks to win.

It's in the rules, you have to pick one. It's a life and death thing. It's painful to do, but them's the breaks.

My pal Eric was on holiday in Spain. He and the lovely Lorna (no pics, sorry) were in a restaurant one evening when a man at a nearby table clocked the Angus accent and engaged Eric in conversation, which soon turned to fitba.
“You a fitbaw* fan then, big man?” enquired the new acquaintance. *weedgie speak
“Aye,” quoth Eric, “I try not to miss a game”.
    “Who’s your team then?”
    “Forfar Athletic”.
“Aye, but who do you really support?”
    “Forfar Athletic”.
“Aye, but y’know, big man, when the Old Firm**, y’know, us and thaim ur playin, who do you support?” **pre-2012, I erred in leaving that employer in 2006
    “I don’t give a fuuck, I support Forfar Athletic.”

Fuuck them both. The Tims a fanny hair less offensive, but it’s like being asked to choose between licking oot Bella Emberg or being fed Daphne Broon’s fanny batter. Enjoy yer tea.

If they were following Arbroath, Killie or any team outwith the cheeks, we wouldn't give a **** and possibly even dof our caps for supporting a diddy team.
    Nope.
AFC pay your wages. Here's your contract.
Be a fan when your retired.
