The game has finally arrived where our goalkeeper has made a mistake and cost us a goal. Its took a long time and the knives have been well and truly sharpened over the months waiting for this very moment.

The guy is an absolute class act. I agree as predominantly a shot stopper he might not be the best but what he brings in other departments is just awesome to watch

In my top 5 players of the season and that's saying something.

    Move with the times guys

He just needs reminding on occasions what those things growing out of the bottom of his arms are for.

I think UG, you commented favourably on the fact that I split my marks for a recent performance into goalkeeper and sweeper category. I gave him excellent marks for his performance as a sweeper, but not for his goalkeeping. That's moving with the times, we have two separate players here, they need assessing on two totally different aspects of their game, in one aspect he's outstanding, in the other he's a liability.

That's my opinion, and one shared by Vinni on Tuesday, as he hooked him at half time, or are you falling for the 'he was poorly' excuse, surely not ?

Like Jim would say from his armchair on the Royle Family, "poorly my arse!"

Agreed. I love the fact how ruthless VK is and the level required. I wouldn't mind him missing a couple of games and letting BPF have a few on the back of the performance he gave but lets take the whole season as a marker.

I have an old work colleague who is a mad Forest fan, he's pi$$ing himself and says our Aro is the worst goalkeeper he has ever seen.

Yes he had a bad time at Forest. Lets not let your mates judgement cloud ours though. let's say what we see. He has been a breath of fresh air, awesome to watch. Yes he made a mistake and had a bad 45 minutes the other night but lets not take it out of context to justify your friends judgement.

I also know plenty of people who have the most bizarre opinions on players. I wouldn't use their judgement as a point to my argument. I'd sooner stick to what I see & judge

Looking at the goals against table Burnley have conceded just 27 league goals this season. That makes us the joint meanest defence in the division and Muric has quite clearly played his part in achieving that however haphazard you may consider some of his performances. I should also point out that I am head of an organisation called the Arijanet Muric Operatic Kompany. In short I run AMOK. It is what it is as they say and when it isn’t quite what it should be I trust VK to put it right. Muric is as many have pointed out no Tom Heaton or Nick Pope but I think the manager gets that. When the time comes we may find a new keeper between the sticks.

All VK needs to do is tell Aro if he mishaps again he will have to listen to this 100 times piped into a locked and padded room down Gawthorpe.

Get your Max Bygraves LPs out and a hammer because we are going to be smashing more records soon BT! But surely you have chosen the wrong tune here. It should surely have been “Deck of Cards”. The Ace reminds me we have but one Keeper and Muric is his name, the Deuce recalls the number of league games we have lost and the Trey the goals we put in the B*stards net with no reply etc
