In a way, I'm surprised you don't see more top players dropping down the leagues to play for the club they support before they retire. If I were a top professional footballer, once I'd earned enough to be sorted forever, I'd just play for Notts for free. What could be better than that?

It's got to slightly ridiculous levels for some. On social media every rumour , every one of the many articles gets talked about often in envious terms.

I am certainly not the person answer your question on here. Maybe the people on here who regularly read (and feel the need to post) on Wrexham's message board can give you some answers.

I didn't realise Bale was a Wrexham fan being a Cardiff boy. He has absolutely no reason to join Wrexham, doesn't need the money, has nothing to promote. Unlike Foster who clearly joined to use the exposure to up his Vlog following like some ****ager I wonder what the EFL will say about him recording games, I seem to remember then shutting down You Tubers doing it in the past if he signs another year.

I am not sure why any Notts fan would wish Wrexham good luck next season, whether we are competing against them or not. Their money should more than make up for any luck needed.

Why not? They've been in this league for 15 ****ing years. Fair play to them however they do it. We've had chances to do things but ended up with **** owners, glad you've got some seemingly nice ones. Also their owners have made alot of nice comments and praise for Notts and Jason Turner which they didn't have to do. All the best Wrexham, I don't really think they're going to be Notts opponents for long and that's fine. We have our way, they have theirs.

Did you run it past Laddo first though? You know you'll get it brought up if he doesn't agree with it. I used to get mad at him, now I just think he's really sad. Like the so proud of Notts thread Cher started, lots of nice posts about the team, management and owners. Then he comes on with a dig trying to reduce the thread to his level. Just pathetic, I don't know how you have the energy to respond to him anymore.

Just reread the thread in case I missed something but no I think it's just a case of reading the poster rather than the post, if anyone else had posted that it would have been seen as fair comment.
