in fairness, it's not about defending it, it's about understanding why.

No-one's looking to blindly accept this and nobody's happy with it...but the mitigating factors are pretty high.

When you start the same 11 five games in a row-includig a 17 year old in only his 9th ever PL game-not to be consistent but because you don't have any other options and most of those 11 have played every minute of those games...then you get what we're seeing.

The players are totally knackered. No energy.

I think Joelinton have to come off, if Longstaff can handle a few minutes. Joelinton is awful on the ball today.

I hope Eddie’s handed in his Jan shopping list, a proper centre forward, a right winger and CB are a must.

    Miracle were only 2-0 down.

Even worse than the Everton game. This is going to get ugly.

Tripps skinned twice but the big lumbering CB Lascelles was atrocious. Schar was screaming at him he did the same against Everton and backed off instead of standing his ground

My impression of him hasn’t changed he’s shyte man

To be fair to Lascelles, though, he's been fantastic up unti recently. I guess you can stretch talent to its limits and not beyond, though.
