Yes we are recruiting from the bargain bucket as you put it.
But other than the Conway best transfer window ever - we have been doing that for years.
It’s either lower league or reserve teams of other clubs.

But it’s proved good in the past - my thoughts are that it has probably produced some good uns this time.
Unfortunately we arn’t going to witness that while the players that were originally here from last season have lost form.
Add to that the playing style has changed.
We need to ask why ?
Theres only one common denominator in all this.

I believe the present recruitment system with the right HC in charge will get us into the Premier.
And it’s not as though we haven’t seen that with our own eyes.
Ismael showed us what can be done.
Unfortunately the following summer the then owners got greedy.

These present owners with the right HC will see us back where Ismael left off.

But it’s been a ‘stop start’ start of their ownership.
They got the Duff appointment right.
Collins might come good - but I can’t see it as he’s not following the clubs style of play - consequently the players don’t look like they know what they’re doing.

It generally works along the lines of Jam Tomorrow with yourself , personally I've had a good look at this strategy for many years and we are where we are and we've ended up as a consequence recruiting our players from a level we once wouldn't consider .

Those are the facts , it hasn't worked and it's unlikely to work in the future .

The only thing that works is to have owners willing to invest significant sums of money in to the club and take it to a place where it's capable of punching the club's weight .

I've another club that's in my heart called Wakefield Trinity , the club is capable of competing for the top trophies that are on offer in Rugby League .

The new owner has worked that out right from the beginning of his tenure , investment at the start of the project will deliver the value he wishes to see .

There are no guarantees with anything but I can tell you here and now Wakefield Trinity will compete for the major prizes in Rugby League , we will have our shot .

Having a shot sells ST's , makes fans like myself dream and makes people such as myself want to be part of it and part with my hard earned .

The difference between Barnsley FC and Wakefield Trinity is off the scale .

Give the Barnsley public something for Christ sake .
