Romared Match Thoughts Barnsley v Stevenage

First ever visit to Oakwell I believe for Steve Evans rather surprising high flying team .

A match of major importance as we approach the half way mark to the season and an opportunity to beat a team above us in the table for the first time this season .

Neil Collins team have huffed and puffed so far this campaign and are in need of a quality performance against very solid league one opposition and a convincing victory .

I suspect we will see neither tomorrow .

Yes, I think our lack of ability to break down an organised defence combined with our own inability to defend properly will be the undoing of us tomorrow. Stevenage have a great away record, the second best in this division. They've ridden into league one on the crest of a wave and continue to ride that wave very admirably. Steve Evans is no mug as we know and will have a game plan. They're a momentum team who are full of confidence as well as being organised. We on the other hand aren't.

Steve Evans has lost three times his body weight but he is still a stout lad. He is a marmite character but I can't help but like him---old school, sez it as it is. His players are playing for him and will run their blood to watta.

If we win today it will be one of the best results of the season for us.

Some goal that from McAtee , if he could finish the easier ones he'd have double figures by now .

Mixed bag of a first half but Stevenage look nowt special .
