Animal I think you are getting the past, present and future mixed up.
The past is reality - the facts.
The present isn’t doom and gloom.
The future is what can be aimed for - I’d personally rather aim for the jam than sit staring at bread and watter thinking that’s all what we deserve.

As for following the popular opinion.
……. ‘people don't like to hear the truth and anyone who doesn't follow the popular opinion is considered a trouble maker’ .

So who follows the popular opinion on here ???
Is it me or is it you ???

All opinions are equally valid Nudge. You do not need to follow the opinion of the herd.
What is the "popular opinion" on here that you refer to Nudge ?

Yes it is a tough moment when your child is told he’s no longer required by bfc but the way he did this, from what I’ve heard is despicable
Maybe his halo has slipped a bit
I really hope he can do a great job but (only from what I’ve heard) he’s not the messiah people think
He most certainly isn't and I too have heard from one of our young players what he's like .

As a player he never gave less than his all here even when played out of position at times .

He was a good servant for us but that counts for nowt given he retired from playing 10 years ago .

There's no room for jobs based on sentiment in professional football .

His interview for the role of Director Of Football should ask what he can bring to the job and how he's going to move us forward on the field and not how many games he played for us over 10 years .

I'm far from convinced his record at The Academy is anything that qualifies him for the role .

I never said anything about sat staring at bread and water but most of your pro ownership posts are based on words and not actions and actions have and will always speak louder than words .

As far as popular opinion is concerned I simply form my own , if people agree with me then fine , if they don't then that's fine too .

Most if not all posters on here agree with your views about the club and directors.
I agree with some of it - but not all.
I especially liked your suggestion about recruiting a few windows in advance.

Always remember - it’s good to disagree.

OMG - he’s finally gone and done it.
    Wiped the slate clean.
    Look at the line up.
    Four - Four - Two

Or should that be - on paper it looks 442.

Dodgson coming in at left centre back and Styles left wing back presumably .

Other than bringing young Shepherd in which seems to suggest a lack of faith there it's probably the right decision .

How it works out in reality against Clarke - Harris and co we will found out in due course .
