Is anyone else concerned that come January, Elon Musk could be the 2nd most powerful person in the USA, or is it just me?
He will probably be first because there are some people over there who seem determined to finish off Trump. He will be lucky to see out his 4 years.
Yeah most of them went to the US as minors fleeing something or other, but anyway I wasn't really disputing his right to be there or to do important jobs, just saying that the photo draped in the American flag while looking inspirationally into the desert is cringey in my opinion.
Just the ticket for the yanks, no doubt some would prefer sleepy Joe draped in a rainbow flag 😴
No doubt many of those worrying about the power of influence Elon Musk will now have believed (and probably still believe) that Bill Gates is a benign force.
That's not to say I trust Musk, I wouldn't trust anyone. My relief at Harris losing this election lasted all of 30 minutes. If Kennedy is allowed to do what he says he wants to do then great, but I'll believe it when I see it. Not a prediction but it wouldn't surprise me if Trump comes under pressure and cuts all ties with him within 6 months.

Depending which channels you happen to garner snippets of information from , the more enlightened folks tend to become.
It's quite amazing, that many people rely on and refer to , the biased broadcasting corporation, as their sole source for fair, ompartial reporting these days !
The Guardian, Reach plc and The Daily Telegraph etc also have biased agendas too.
As for the Musks being " self serving " are they any different to politicians in general and the current Government "Big Hitters " in particular ?
