Silly, reckless and an unnecessary free kick to give away Zak (tut tut), but don't worry you won't be slated in the press, he's had his knuckles rapped for that. Great save by Phillips, I don't blame him for pushing it away, it was hit hard, low and with with venom, even Viktor wouldn't have gathered that one. Cracking first half save from their top forward also and he came out to block another chance for their forward, well done Phillips tonight.

Raggett's goal. For me one different point of opportunity to launch the ball straight back in without hesitancy and it was a good cross indeed.
Up came the MOTM and he powered it in no problem. His overall game though was of a dominant centre half and I feel that was his best game for us so far this season. More pleeeeeeease.

Lincoln came at us as expected through trailing but, somehow we were steadfast and resilient to see it out. A scrappy affair at times with no less than 7 yellows shown, which brings me onto the Ref.

Boy did he not like JCH. they clattered him, very little given, he gave it back, foul, foul, foul. Complete had it in for him. Totally surprised he never booked him. As for Odoffin firing at the net, he couldn't wait to book him. The ball got caught in the side netting and barely rolled 2 yards, easy for the keeper to pick it up but, and only slight credit, he did book two of theirs late on. Score 5/10.

Scrappy, we looked all at sea on more then enough occasions. To say they've had a fortnight off they still all don't look match fit?

It's 3 points, Evo, the team, the fans will all take that tonight. About time something fell our way for once through better effort and determination.

NB. Sam Nombe. This man really put himself about tonight and was clearly out on his feet by the final whistle. Great contribution Sam
TBH brin I got a bit annoyed at the fans last night. Imo we were the better side first half except for the 15 min after half time. Matched Lincoln 2nd half. The players went from trying to attack, (hoof ball as some call it) to passing sideways and backwards and the crowds reaction was booing...
Wtf agree with the post above. The crowd needs to cut this team some slack and stop moaning over the slightest thing.

What got my attention most in the second half was when the Lincoln fans were singing abuse to Evans only for our own fans down in the NWC
to join in with them, unbelievable! I wonder how many would sing that song to his face?

I couldn't hear that where I was sitting but that's moronic, it helps nobody, especially when weren't even losing. It still wasn't a good watch on Tuesday but it was better than what's come before in recent weeks and a win is a win. That's the most important thing when hovering above the relegation zone.

I was listening to Ally McCoist on TalkSport yesterday talking about the Lopetegui situation at West Ham where the fans are chanting against him and he said once the fans turn on you it's near on impossible to get them back and I think it's similar here in that a lot of fans have turned on Evans. The large number of empty seats suggests a lot have had enough. I'd love to know what the real attendance was. There were empty seats behind, in front, and to both sides of us on Tuesday, all season ticket holders who hadn't bothered to come. I think it's going to have to take a VERY good run of results from now on for Evans to get most back on side. The calls for him to go will be as loud as ever if we lose to Blackpool.

A win is a win but that wasn't a win to make me think we're on our way back and even in the 7 minutes added on at the end we looked nervy and got away with the ball falling kindly on one or two occasions. Its a feeling more of relief that we won than to take any confidence whatsoever from the performance, but I live in hope that things can only get better and we can at least keep our better players fit. That's pretty much how I saw it too Ronners.
Apart from the fact that we somehow managed to win there was little else to get enthused about and the sight of those two clowns screaming and waving their arms about in the technical area is just nauseating to me.
Yet another yellow card for Evans. Surely TS can't have any pride in the way the manager is representing the club or the boring, predictable
stuff he's serving up on the pitch?
I never want us to lose but the fact that we won means it's likely we can expect more of the same turgid stuff for a while longer.

A win, which is obviously the most important thing, and we did play better, but it was far from convincing.
    How I see it we were playing 4-3-3,with a regular back 4,2 fullbacks,2 CB`s.
The 2 full backs, pretty much pick themselves, both are decent players, with James being a bit more attack-minded.
The 2 CB`s....obviously Raggett is his first choice if fit,and he`s a steady defender, who can actually score, which is nice !
And Jules had a great game apart from the stupid mistake which cost us the goal, you might even say "8 year old standard",who sorry wrong player.
Midfield.....Tiehi,Powell and Oddofin, now to me,Christ and Haks do the same job, essentially CDM`s,I honestly don`t think we need 2 of them in there do the same thing,we desparately need someone who`s more attack-minded in midfield.
Forward 3....JCH is the traditional centre forward role, target man if you like, which is fair enough, don`t think he`s moblie enough to do anything else, which leaves the other 2 "Forwards".
They look like they are playing a wider, almost winger role, which I don`t think really suits either of them, surely one of them would be better suited to playing in a central role alongside JCH ?
Also,it looks like Humphries is toast, which would be a big shame.

Howdi Millers,i watched the game last night and i thought it was at best Mediocre from both sides, but at least the Millers won and as ya know that's the most important thing but i have to say i'm surprised how much the Millers are struggling at present.I hope your form improves and you manage a better 2nd part of the season.UTB

I agree with the above comment that we have probably seen the last of Humphreys. Not sure about his contract but we should get a few bob for him in January. I think the same fate might await Bramall. I can understand it. We need muck and nettles type defenders when the going gets/is tough
