Nothing's coming easy at the moment, even the lighting, but a win is a win and buys us some breathing space. Will this be the spark that ignites a run in a similar vein to the win at Blackpool did under Warney? Only time will tell.
Thoughts on tonight's events?
Yes a wins a win, still work to be done but 3points help.
Points the priority right now - get some belief back after a bad run
Very very unconvincing. Still lacking bite in the fifty fifties and we look a bit soft. Definitely need more teeth in midfield. Lincoln will justly feel aggrieved they didn't get a point. Nombe man of match? Not after he let their scorer push him over. Take a look
Three points softens the edges of another dire performance.
Good to see Mrs Nombe giving her son the mom trophy.
Looked poor before going ahead and then found a bit of determination from there. Some shifts put in through the middle, and good to see players wanting to get forward.
Not a great performance, and unlikely to be any sort of turning point, but a welcome three points and good to see a bit (!) of effort. Passing needs to improve, far too many lost balls and on another night that could have cost us.
Pleased for Powell the one signing this season with some quality. Still can't work out why Hungbo Mcdonald are on the bench & not McGuckin?
Raggett and Tiehi were our best players, agree about Nombe being bullied out of the way for their goal but you teach schoolboy goalkeepers never to push the ball back into play, good saves in the first half but should have done better for the free kick.
At last a decent set piece, all three goals from set pieces how many times is it said how important they are. Overall we were better than we have been recently, but it is still not great. The result is so important especially as our next home game is against a relegation rival. We need to build on this and get something at blackpool. Until we scored the second goal we were second best to them, they come out second half and played us off the park, we start each half very slowly and other teams will know this. With a fit squad please explain to me how macdonald gets on the bench, wow how bad was he when he came on, he gave them two chances in 5 minutes. Add him to Hugill and that is two subs wasted, how can they not see this. The most interesting thing for me was just before the game the YT article about the transfer window.
Firstly a phrase about players not letting themselves be injured??? What does he mean by that. secondly it is clear that he has been told that we won't be doing much business and only then if some players leave, very different from a few weeks ago when he was talking about the window.
Anyway, we won we are 17th not 19th and we have teams around us to play in the next few weeks so a chance to get us up into mid-table.

Not realistic to expect a great performance with low confidence, players returning, struggling for rhythm. Can only really be a slow steady turnaround based on stopping the rot, getting a couple of confidence building, ground out wins and hoping the better players find their form and click.
First step is a window like this. Raggett looking much not like the player we hoped for and could be a very big factor. Odoffin looked to enjoy the role back in attacking midfield and was a big factor in wrestling back control from them when they looked like they were going to pummel us.
Important win. Might just be a positive blip, and we go back downhill but can only hope it's the start of turn around to happier days.
The most fascinating thing tonight was how rattled we looked when they scored. Everyone completely forgot how to press. On 3 occasions the Lincoln centre half strolled from the edge of his box up to the half way line. It was so bad- the Millers fans began to boo.
Evans turned around and all the colour had drained from his face .
I really think if Ragget hadn't scored Evans would have bern sacked this week.
