MoM Humphreys, defensive midfielder, now we need a attacking midfielder also

Lincoln City not a good team, but better than Northampton Town.

Lincolns forwards were like our forwards this season, could not get a shot on target to score.

So many times he runs, closes down and chases lost causes that lead to mistakes or allows other Rotherham players to get up the pitch. He puts more effort in the first 5 minutes than JCH, Hugill do in 90 minutes. The lad wants to play, and it shows.
You seem to have answered the wrong post DerbyMiller.
I said said Nombe did some mileage today, I said JCH has not got a run in him.

Heartening performance and good result - how often have we lost to teams who are out of form? Not this time though, Well done Millers - hope we carry on this level of performance into the next few games

Hungbo been recalled or we ended his loan? Unlikely any additions SE says before Huddersfield game.

Performance not great but an improvement and a win. That?s all that matters.
Credit to the manager and players.
    Onto Huddersfield.
Really hope we have turned a corner.
    Fans excellent today.

Great result, and well deserved, but still a long, long way to go to be in a decent position.
I don`t get his team selctions at all,I thought Humphries and Bramall were toast, and a start for McDonald ?
However remembering how he was first time it`s not surprising, many players who were decent were dropped and many who he fetched in hardly played a game,so expect more strangness.

Who was it that said half the way through the Matchthread

    This is boring ?

We were the best team. Our best players were playing out of position which tells its own story.

The matcthread was funny though. The opinions made me laugh. But not as much as the responses.

That was me, I was bored first half, but then again I've been bored most of this season. Second half was better and it's a very good result in our position. The performance was better than it's been, although I'm still not sure what the plan is meant to be. I still didn't find it a particularly entertaining game overall and as I said on the matchthread, if you thought it was then it shows just how low the bar has been set.

I just don't really feel any connection to this team at the moment and feel almost like a neutral when watching my own team. I think when you watch it dispassionately you see it for what it is, and this is a dreadful league full of poor teams playing awful football, and we're one of them. I don't think we'll go down, I just think we'll be consistently inconsistent for the rest of the season, a mix of decent wins and dire defeats and overall it'll be a season to forgot.
