MoM Humphreys, defensive midfielder, now we need a attacking midfielder also

Lincoln City not a good team, but better than Northampton Town.

Lincolns forwards were like our forwards this season, could not get a shot on target to score.
If you think Nombe was the weakest link, please stop watching football. So many times he runs, closes down and chases lost causes that lead to mistakes or allows other Rotherham players to get up the pitch. He puts more effort in the first 5 minutes than JCH, Hugill do in 90 minutes. The lad wants to play, and it shows.

Foot note - special mention to those Duke's Bar regulars who advised SE on the formation and personnel changes. I won't name them here to protect their modesty other than to say, if only he had listened to you sooner!
Not desperately keen to join the festive squabbling, but if you take the view that the majority of the credit for a reasonable performance should go to Evans then presumably you accept that he must take responsibility for the usual shyte ones?

Well, if thats a reason to play someone, please stop watching football. He's not good enough and his record demonstrates that.

Nombe is poor - he was poor in the Championship and he is poor in league one. If TS had not been duped by Taylor into spending ?1 million on him, he would have been shipped out months ago. But of course we have egos to protect!
If that is the case why did Evans say at earlier in the season that offers came in for Nombe late in the window and he stopped him leaving? Yes and working hard is the idea, if you watch the best teams they have players that run and run. Also your boyfriend Evans has said numerous times this season that running and putting in the effort is so important to the overall performance of the team.
He has also scored 4 goals and 4 assists, JCH 6 goals 2 penalties only 1 assist in the league. He deserves his place in the team

Let me know who the offers came from won't you?

And just to be clear, we have been married a long time so I do find the term "boyfriend" a little distasteful.

I think that was a good game for us to start the new year. Resolutions might not last long, but there was more resolve and panache about

today's performance than was evident for much of the last two months.

Humphries' move into the middle certainly helped with ball distribution and Oddofin and Jules were solid in defence. It did help that the

Lincoln forwards must have been suffering a collective double vision when shooting. They were awful.

As much as it saddens me, I have to say I have some sympathy for NWC's thoughts on Nombe. Btw, I think some posters have been unkind to

him; he's at least 14 and probably suffering puberty issues. It can be a hard time for some.

Thanks Giddy. I appreciate you breaking ranks to admit the truth. Good luck with your retirement.
