We might all have different thresholds but for me, 4 weeks doesn?t seem too soon to put some sort of message out that things are progressing (or not). What is yours? 3 months? 6 months?
As someone further up the thread said - Silence is deafening.

What is far, far more concerning is the lack of coaching staff to support SM when he and the team quite clearly need help and help now. It is 2 months+ since the Saunders departure. Is it the intention to wait until Montagues replacement is in place and assessed the situation before action is taken? That would probably mean not this season. It would also probably mean that they are content with decline and no promotion. Montague is gone so the only people who are able to make the appointments or dismissals now are the Reedtz brothers.
As I said before - To me we appear rudderless.
All you?ve done is just re hash your original message, so my answer the same, wait and see.
    BTW I don't consider myself a customer, I'm a supporter , maybe that's we're different.

Normally, the manager has a say at least in who he wants to work with, contacts he's made in the game (often ex-colleagues from playing days - Allardyce and Brazil spring to mind as team mates at Preston). Seems Maynard will have no say whatsoever and if they intend to keep him on then most coaches out there are likely to be more experienced than him in terms of playing career, unless we're doing another dip deep into non-league.

What are you on about? Why is that a wind up? I stand by my comments and talk of sacking a head coach when in March and in a play off position is silly even after the poor performance from the team on Saturday.

You don?t think it?s silly at this time? Ok, who would you want in for the final eleven matches?

Some might think the club is rudderless but the supporters sat navs and mobile phones certainly were working and did the job with over 1200 at Wimbledon for a televised game. So maybe not all the enthusiasm has died as is being portrayed

We are definitely short staffed behind the scenes as the departures show. We know the owners are proactive and won?t rush things so not surprised they were perhaps caught about by Mongague?s exit. He?s been integral to Notts and football radar so not easy to replace, not to be rushed.

The coaches leaving, again unexpected but easier to replace especially in short term to help out. Whether Maynard?s lack of experience as a head coach means he doesn?t have the contacts an older experienced manager would have to find a quick replacement I don?t know.

I agree with KC and OP any ideas of sacking is silly but a review is essential and very likely.

Rudderless at present or not we are in the best hands we?ve been in for decades and they always have a plan. As mentioned they speak only when it?s needed not when demanded by some fans to squash speculation and rumours they read online. Much prefer too little than too much talk from the owners.

As for enthusiasm needing a lift. Over 1200 travelling to south west london for a 12:30 kick off that?s on TV. That?s enthusiasm levels as a Notts fan I?m not used to
I think the enthusiasm clearly disintegrated at the full time time whistle, with a resounding chorus of booing.. Plus many left at half time...You will soon get used to that if the performances and results dont rapidly improve..

Yes, I would like the Reedtz Brothers to let us know that it is alright, and I am confident I am not alone. As 1955pie said: ?We appear to be rudderless.?

I think people are entitled to have opinions without being called silly for having them, whether I agree with them or not.

What about Pompous arse and fcuk face, as above?

Is being called silly offensive? Why can?t an opinion or decision by the club or head coach be called silly?

Do you agree them or not?

It disintegrated long before that, you must have missed the boos at half time.

One big lad tried to start a Maynard Out chant but after three loud calls nobody joined in so he stopped.

Still over 1200 paid one of the highest ticket prices in the division to travel a long way to see a game they could have watched on TV. I would suggest that?s impressive in anybody?s books. I remember when we used to average less than half that at away games
