    You expect your team when playing at home NOT to play, boring, pass it across the back going nowhere football. And that is what we are being served under Maynard.. Some may argue that is because of our injury list, but there is no excuse in lumbering our potential match winners with defensive roles..

    It worked for him in the NL because the opposition were inferior..

    It certainly won't work in League 1 with these players if we're lucky enough to get promoted

    Tippy tappy football should work better the further you go up the pyramid under the caveat that you have the finances to support it. A kick and rush team will quickly get found out as you go up the leagues. Plus it doesn?t help with crowds.

    I imagine it is harder to get out of this league and below with our style than higher leagues.

    When Luke Williams left, in our first season back, we were about 6th and that was with a poor and inferior defence and keeper compared to our rivals. I suspect very different with Bass, Playt, Bedeau.
