Hamshaw has never managed before, you said you didn't want him because he was "up himself" and played for Sheffield Wednesday but now you've changed your mind.
And then you wonder why no-one ever takes you seriously.
None of us know how it will work out if Wood is added to the management team but one thing is certain, they all have a genuine affinity for the club and will do their damndest to improve things.
After that thumping defeat at Burton,Huddersfield are very much under pressure to appoint a manager and Warne has been mentioned more than once to take the job.If he is taken on, MH might be tempted to join him.I would give my full backing to Matt to take this club forward.BUT he must get full financial backing from TS.No empty promises, which infuriated Warney.
I don't think he was infuriated. Just frustrated that what TS thinks is a safe amount to invest without risking the club won't really cover championship ambitions, at least long term. I think Warne fully understands the reason why and bears no grudges against Stewart. It was just that his ambitions became bigger than that
Think you are correct Shark. It would obviously be a difficult decision for Hamshaw but i fully expect to him to again team up with Warne at Huddersfield (or wherever) next season. Managing Rotherham United under the current set-up would be a poisoned chalice for Hamshaw.
