Theres three, Vale, MK and Carlisle, I think are pretty clearly the highest. Then were in a cluster of teams with the likes of Doncaster, Bradford, Gillingham, Fleetwood and Walsall that all look much of a muchness.
What about Salford? They must have spent a pretty penny on their current squad.

Regardless we have been in the mix and now a little behind four of those and well ahead of the other four

I do believe that many people believe we should have a high budget purely because we get higher gates than many but how much is that down to a very cheap pricing range for STs . Interestingly our official site has broken our early bird STs down to price per match ( obviously only if you attend all league games) & it brings home just why we sell so many STs. Examples per game, under12 ?1.04...under18 ?2.26...under 21 ?5.09...under 25 ?7.61...Seniors ?9.35 & Adults ?14.13. The big surprises to me were kids @ just over a quid & young adults which means that young adults can bring a couple of their kids down for less than a tenner all in. I think it's a great move by the club but it would be interesting to see a gate receipt league rather than the usual attendance tables, it could be closer than many believe. COYP

Chesterfield charge all their fans about 100 pounds a season more than us.
For us 10,000 fans all paying 100 pounds more would be 1m pounds a season. 4 pounds more a game. But then we wouldnt get 10000 fans although I would pay it. I think it is an absolute bargain even if they do drive me to despair sometimes.

I thinks it?s basically how much you?re willing to lose as much as gates. Salford lost over 3m last season, Stockport over 6m, we lost 1.5m I think after averaging roughly 2m a season.

Back of a fag packet calcs if we?re averaging 3k more attendance it probably equates to around 1m more income a season.

However to me football is all about hope and anticipation and another season of Maynardball, especially at home, is about as appealing as a dose of Ebola.
I?m not 100% he should stay. Just trying to bring some balance. We?ve also seen over the years how continual sacking of managers goes.

Is the mark of the man that as far as we know, unlike our last few managers, no one has head hunted him yet?

The Bro?s will have their lines I sand I reckon and they will decide ultimately if he stays or goes. They seem level headed and haven?t done much wrong so far.
