Ah OK, in that case I misunderstood Bohinen's post. Thanks for admitting to it and please don't post personal insults in future.

I think the Wheelbarrow song needs re-writing.

I had a wheel barrow, the wheel stayed on.

We have been garbage for months and he has been going on about how great we are. There is a difference between being optimistic and delusional. We could do it if it wasn't for all the things going against us like, the manager, the players, the tactics, the lack of effort the players have put in since xmas and lastly a desire from the players to try.

It's not about gloating, I will be upset when we lose; if we win, which I can't see happening i will be overjoyed. The difference is I can see when something is wrong and is not working and will call for changes. It seems that Thaipie is happy with any sh it is he served up.

What is your reason for optimism?
I just hope the brothers get rid and replace, quickly, in time for a new manager to have a full, preseason with whoeever we find ourselves with on the books.

I’ve never seen so many magpies in the garden as this past week. There have often been two together (for joy) and at one point even six, which I am reliably informed is “for gold”. It’s a sign - League 1 here we come!

I have often been called over optimistic but with the news that Didzys out the best I can manage is that miracles can happen. COYP onwards & upwards.

Yes, I had six in my back garden the day before yesterday. Often see two or three, but I'm sure six is the most I've ever seen together around here. They were having a bit of a scrap though, four attacking two.

My heart of course wants promotion, but my head tells me we're genuinely not ready yet and that we probably need to keep building until we're the proper finished article, bashing our heads against the top of this league, much like we eventually were in the National League.
Very wise and balanced viewpoint, weve tended to progress in the leagues until we are eventualy good enough to get up (like in the NL), despite at the end of every failed play off campaign some miserable fellas predicting 'relegation zone next season'.

Whether we go up this season or go in to next season as one of the favourites with a more balanced squad - enjoy the ride people!
