The only reason Williams has a contract offer is for compensation reasons he would have been released had that not been the case.

As for Tracey we are a club with little money as it is cut him loose and wish him all the best

I personally think they will find it hard to offload a rank average defender with a poor attitude, I hope the do find some fool to sign him i personally will be glad to see the back of him.

Tom Lowery

I disagree. IF the Alex were set up to attack, then Lowery would be a real asset. Lowery didn't fulfil his early loan potential because the management forced him to play deeper. If he were to adopt the same role as in the latter stages of last season, then I agree it would be a waste.

I would say Lowery signing would be a real positive. He had no-one to play with at that stage of the season. Lowery and Lankester together for an extended period would be good to see.

I think Williams must have a hopeful agent because he?s being touted as a L1 or even Championship player. If that happens then other teams are clearly seeing something I can?t. He?s becoming increasingly ill disciplined and has plateaued performance wise. I can imagine he could get higher wages at another L2 club but so could most of them.

Yes can't put time limit on Williams or we lose the chance of compensation if he lets it run down. On the other hand, sounds like someone does want to sign him, what else are they talking about? They'll want him for pre-season if possible you'd think, though he can't play a league game for us or them in first two, last 2 of the red card at the end of last season, so that might hold things up a bit.

And now, as expected, a loan keeper in - 21 year old Sam Waller from Burnley, under contract to them till end of season, with option of another year. I do hope Booth gets a genuine chance to compete with him, and we do play whichever seems the better option.

As said above surely Moult will only play today at Ashton if they are thinking of signing him - and Turton? Strange KO time, 1.30??
