We glimpsed the future yesterday: go 5-3-2 and play Flemming and Foster up top together.

Cullen, Big Les and Luis can take any team on in midfield.

Walker, Tuanzebe, Esteve, Ekdal & Hartman back five and Mr Reliable between the sticks.

And still have a bench packed with options.

And anybody who still says Flemming is not EPL quality had better ring the Wolves defence and ask what they think.

"The first goal was a thing of esoteric beauty, a 60 yard diagonal pin point cross that was steered home with a gossamer like first touch.

A fantastic goal in every sense of the word."

Nobody said fleming cant play at this level in fact if you read back my pre season comments i thought he’d adjust quicker to the premiership because hes big strong and doesn't suffer being pushed off or outmuscled - however i also said his strength was deeper coming onto balls delivered and he lacks a yard of pace - which all are true i think still at this moment in time.

The lads very good and also capable as he showed yesterday when he’s given the service - our issues dont lie with him but if you want a forward to go in behind it’s not him as foster showed when he was introduced.

Though i will say Parker was happy with a point, what he got when Hannibal and foster came on was a bit of quality that won us the game but we’d been on the back foot the whole half.

I'll ask it one last time, did you expect the Wolves players not to fight to their last breath?

We were the better team, our players right across the board were better than theirs and our bench is certainly a heck of a lot better than theirs.

    Next up the Gunners.

Fair play to Foster too, no panic, a lovely first touch and a match winner to boot.

And still we have moaners. I'm at a loss.
Well done Lyle. The same Lyle that someone on this board said wouldn't score 8 goals for Burnley (he now has 10). Agree that Zian's goal was a thing of beauty. UTC.

I must have missed where you asked that several times but now ive read it the answers
No i dont expect them to

But what they do isnt the discussion - for me it was about our players - selected - how they played and of course the managers tactics.

After the 1st 25 mins we wernt the better team as per previous posts our wode men offered nothing hence why we ended up defending our own 18 yard box for the majority of the second half - wellnin the game i watched that?s what happend.

He seems to have got his mental issues sorted warmy which can only be good news for us. I wonder if Scotty will consider starting Foster and Flemming as a pair up top.

I'm sure he will consider it, and then decide not to.

With the players he has at his disposal I really think a 5-3-2 formation would suit us perfectly mon ami, but then again I'm not paid 4 million quid a year to make those decisions.

Against Arsenal, do you really expect anything other than a basic 5-4-1 ?

If we want fluidity and speed of transition 5-4-1 will not bring it mon ami. Try and keep up old chap.

Keep up with what ? You were asking if we thought Parker would consider playing two up top. I said he would consider it, but wouldn't do it. You're a funny old bugger sometimes, do you want discussions or not ?
