You can’t just keep saying sacking him won’t change anything because that’s not certain. Maybe it will but one things for certain in a lot of supporters opinions and it’s just opinions is that he’s taking us down.
I have always respected your opinions and still do but having ago at supporters without giving an alternative opinion imo just doesn’t stack up.
I don't know why you think "I'm having a go" just because I ask people what they want or expect to happen if we sack this manager. It seems a perfectly reasonable question given what's happened on previous occasions.
We've all been wrong so far!
I wanted Hamshaw to be successful because I want the club I support to be successful. I wanted him to sort out the mess that the previous 3 had left behind.
Unfortunately his stubborn approach to the team formation and tactics isn't working (he reminds me of a lower league Ruben Amorim) and he will probably have to pay the price. That's football for you.
Unfortunately I have absolutely zero confidence that when that happens things won't get a whole lot better.
    Hopefully I'll be proved wrong.

Foul on keeper
Did the referee make us play with wing backs leaving us wide open ?
Did he also encourage us to pump it long when it doesn?t work?
Did the referee start with the wrong team?

You are correct I should have used a better phrase than having a go at people my apologies
I agree about the reference to Amorim it?s similar fans not happy with owners and also manager.
But on that basis I watched Man Utd rip Man City to shreds today so happy days change the manager job done. 😊
I?m in my late fifties and over the years worked with business that have been poorly run. Yet they still had to sack managers who were wrong for them. Imo that?s what needs to happen now. But I think he will get the next 3 games. They could be the biggest in our recent history.

A word about Harry Gray, worked hard but it was like boy against men.We never really gave him anything of note, first half long ball again time after time.Tale of two halves again.when we were in trouble & Warnock came in after two games he worked out what was needed, grafters & leaders not a 17yr old wonder kid.I really do feel for him & should be in a team on the up that plays football on the floor, not us.

Interesting comments from everyone - If it?s hoofball you?re playing then that?s not Harry Gray?s game at all. You won?t see the best of him and that?s for sure.

You won't find a Rotherham fan who is entirely happy with any of those things you list. In my view, most people who want Hamshaw to stay are simply attaching more value to the longer term idea of buying young talented players and developing them. It feels like a plan that will work for this football club and Hamshaw is seen as part of that. Plus, there's the lingering argument which says that with a fully fit squad we wouldn't be in the bottom 4.

Take Steve Evans as an example. There's absolutely no way he would still be in a job had he just presided over 8 straight defeats. No chance. That's because he was brought in to deliver immediate success and a lot of the signings he made reflected this. He failed to bring instant success so he got the boot.

I'm as frustrated as anyone with Hamshaw's reluctance to change things. But when you also consider that he has 3 former pros around him then you really do begin to wonder what kind of conversations they have together in relation to tactics etc.

I'm still Hamshaw in right now but I fully accept that this run cannot go on too much longer. It just can't.

Players coming off the bench at half time yet again improve play time and again. Once you have committed players at half time you have nowhere to go from there, so they must be considered to be ok to last a half. So play them first!

Expecting anything else from a weakened side from the off other than trouble, well is cloud cuckoo land. Couple that to insistence on a 3 with inadequate WB’s…..again, baffling.

Compare Dawson’s stats as a keeper, passes attempted to % made, to the other keeper today….shocking difference.
Cannot jump for a ball and concedes a goal.

If we do not keep and play our best players, then there is only one way this season will end. Relegation. And we are sleepwalking into it.
I think MH subs were spot on today , his plan was to stay in the game until HT , with is lesser members of the squad shall we say , and then bring on betters players to try and win the game in the 2nd half , which he nearly did , and at least deserved a point,. Spence and nombe were excellent,. On to the keepers you can't blame Dawson , for not jumping for the 2nd goal he was clearly fouled . ,there keeper was there best player and kept them in the game . That why his stats were better .

I saw it more or less the same but, that was a massive gamble starting with a midfield like that. But dare he risk Spence and Nombe from the off considering they haven't played for along time? Fine lines indeed but some fans don't see that and only want everything their way.

No excuses now though, Spence, James and Nombe ALL have to start in our next game. Hopefully we may even see Gore returning along with Powell in the middle. Now that would make a good midfield and no reason to pump it long all the time. Also Pacman said Gray doesn't like long high balls so that set up og those three amy also play into HIS game.

All due respect mate but you are out of order
I have travelled up and down the country and for the most part witness a load of ****
Having a dig at the fans and calling them out imo is shameful.
Take off your rose tinted glasses. If you want to back the manager I respect that but digging fans out like me who never miss a game is shocking. I’m pissed off with that comment I really am.

No ofcause he didn't, but he did give a goal , which was a foul , and is a foul on every other Saturday in the season , we scored against Huddersfields , and it was a foul on the keeper for something that was a lesser offence than today , We are not having the breaks,, and did we really pump it long ?? The 2nd goal was very good play did we pump it long , nombe hitting the post was that pumped long , the save the keeper made off spence was that pumped long , the header from hugill was that pumped long . . We're Stockport really better than us ,, really ..,
