Thread: Donny post match thoughts.

Well....thought 1st half we were very good, maybe best this season, you could see Donny had no ideas, and no confidence, really were there for the taking,a second goal from us would have killed them, the combination of a back 4,and Benson and Watmore having great games.
However,we didn`t score another,Donny took off Sharp, who was anything but, they come out firing,we take off McW(Injured ??),and the game changes almost instantly.
All of a sudden we look like the poor team again, confindence gone, they`ve got it back, and the inevitable happens, helped by a real c*ck up from Dawson, just hoof it man for Christ`s sake.
So we end up losing a game we looked in control of,but again,we only play for half a game,so what can you expect ?
Not sure why Martha was on instead of Yearwood, maybe you could say it was a positive move,a defensive player for someone more attack-minded,but we were in control at that time,so a straight swop would have made more sense to me,but what do I know.
So after a really good 1st half which I really enjoyed...well done fans,we lose another game which we really needed to win,my wife said to me,"Why didn`t they just play like they did in the first half ?"
That is a very good question.

I think 99% of us know MH needs to go now. No abuse needed or warranted just get rid because he?s never been the right man for us.

The players should also take responsibility because that was cowardly the second half.
We are in a mess and need a total clear out.

I watched the first half and thought the Millers deserved to be in front at H/T but from the bit i saw of the 2nd half it's lookin gloomy for the Millers this season. Dawson isn't anywhere near good enough in my opinion.Watmore looks like he may be a decent signin and i genuinely hope the Millers can stay up but surely the manager has to go ASAP.UTB

........ why did he put Martha on in a game what was blood & guts derby game?

..................and then Dawson, just how many goals/ points has he cost us?

...As soon as the big c/f came on at h/t we didn't know what to do with him. and it changed the game completly, but it still it took 2 mistakes from us for them to score......as soon as Watmore and Benson tired we had done and threw the towel in.

Formation argument does not hold water. It is the players. First half was even. We got forward better than we had for weeks.
    Nothing wrong with 443.
We moved back and forth easily.
However, the substitution and or what was said at half time, donny making changes and massing forward, and we looked a different side.

Dawson was just the icing on the cake, always an accident waiting.
I think you'll find there is something wrong with 443 but maybe the ref wouldn't notice.

That interview is a disgrace, not my fault mate. Two senior players made mistakes and I lost two more to injuries, if I had my full squad…..blah, blah. No acceptance of accountability, and yet again he has to mention that he won a game of football at Barnsley.

This season has gone, it went when TS didn’t act around Xmas and new year and people believe this man is a football manager. When some say he needs more time, time to do what exactly? What is it that people see in MH as a manager that the results and performances don’t show and so many fans don’t see?
The next manager has to be that, a manager. Someone with experience that can give us a chance in L2 with a reduced budget and hardly any players. It is a total rebuild job for whoever has to manage us in L2. I don’t think we will find anyone like that now, who wants a relegation on their CV, awful decisions by those at the top to be in this situation, the experiment failed and it was plain to see a lot earlier that the games against Burton and Donny.

For months I've been saying that the dumplings in the dugout are taking us down and that we need a new goalkeeper.
    I'm still right

I’ll admit I thought you were being reactionary and silly when you first said it. I apologise. I was wrong
