Are you not thinking of Jason Brown the Welsh blob that Craig Brown signed, was awful in the SC semi against Hibs...rather than Scott Brown the English bottle merchant that McInnes signed who was awful in the LC semi versus the Jutes?

See also Langfield is impossible to replace, there isn’t another manager that can do the job other than McInnes, we must move from Pittodrie or the club will die

    Where’s your sense of adventure?
Who replaced Langfield? As in, which manager moved him on?

He still took a few attempts to replace him but picked worse goalkeepers. Danny Ward then Joe Lewis were the only ones he got correct.

    It was Derek McInnes.

    What do I win?

I’m pretty much there myself but if an Eastern European nut job who’s never heard of Celtic took charge, it would perk some interest.

Also, let’s not forget we had a Denmark day at Pittodrie for him. Who’s organising the Glasgow day for our much more successful manager?

I think the Ebbe phenomenon was just a bit of levity for us all after coming through extremely dark periods of Hegarty, A. Miller and Paterson.
We all knew deep down we were ****e and Ebbe’s stay was some light relief, even though we were still ****e.

Quotes such as “miniskirts....” and “the operation was a success.....” just further enhanced that period of bewilderment. It was like holidaying in Amsterdam after being to places like Butlins.

Fair doos, I thought he was pre-Ebbe. Mind you, Patterson partied everyday like it was Butlins and Amsterdam.
