To be open, unless FootyMad demands the removal of any public health misinformation/disinformation it is a difficult call for a mere moderator to make, regardless of my personal opinions. If they did give guidance I'd hope they took action themselves rather than passing the responsibility on to unpaid volunteers.

UTM has a great Notts website which we all admire and has been a valued contributor on here for donkeys' years. If I was to ban him just for stating his opinions I think that would make me a censor, rather than a moderator, and that's not how I interpret the role.

My attitude to all of this probably comes from being at a very impressionable age in the school year of 1977/78. Going along with the crowd that suddenly believe in something they didn't believe in yesterday, acting all out of character, makes me feel very uncomfortable.

I agree but like before the ‘Hand Bags’ thread it clogs the top of the board from genuine Notts football content and people believe there maybe something of Notts related being posted in the thread and while agenda stuff is being unnecessarily posted to keep it at the top it just keeps being there.

It would be interesting to know in stats now there is the ‘Hand Bags’ thread if the views in there have now decreased because it’s out the way? There’s a place for this thread but not in the mainstream part (IMO)

That's a fair point m_m but I think most of us would agree that it ceased to be about that a long time ago. If it gets back to the original topic it is a simple process to remove the 'O/T:-' though.

If we carry on at the rate we're going with these incidents then it's going to become increasingly impossible to ignore. Will the booster prolong or make the problem worse? Maybe everybody who can be affected has been affected by now and the problem will ease off. We don't know because this is a live experiment and all you can do is take note. That Klopp has come out calling for mandatory jabs amid all of tis uncertainty is unreal, but then again he is German.
