You can't say governments around the world have been complacent and done nowt as we don't know that. The only thing that could have been done differently is stock pile equipment and extra staff. The money isn't there to do this. Not just in our country but around the world.

What do you thing this government or any government should have done differently except throw money after money at health authorities..
Don't you agree the health of the nation should be a govts priority cayton. Surely it is good for the economy if we are all healthy workers and healthy people who dont drain the NHS.

NHS coping well atm irrespective of this. Come on give me the evidence that is a throw away remark.

heres something for you to read:

Hmm coping well...? And this was before this lot kicked off...

You are living in a different world to the rest of us.Do you use the NHS yourself? What has been your experience of it. I have several relatives who work in the NHS as doctors and nurses and they are always telling me about how run down it is...

Just going to post this because I'm immensely proud of my son in law and we've had our differences in the past .

There's two boxes of our Grandsons baby milk left on the supermarket shelf , he's taken just the one and left the other one for another baby's parents .

My step daughter and grandson are in good hands with this lad .

Immensely proud of you lad , he's only 20 years old by the way .

I'm not that we'll educated Roly so you will have to explain the last sentence to me in layman's terms.

Regards the first part. In a ideal world we all would be healthy,. We all would have good jobs and be well educated. Sadly that ideal world doesn't exist. The balance in our country is lopsided.
We're short on housing,. We're lacking in the health care. Policing is under funded. Schools are really struggling to meet demands. I could go on. Fact is the pot isn't big enough for our needs and this is not just new since torys took over. It's been going on most of my adult life.

    Neither am I Cayton!

I don't want to keep going on about it. (Hurray i hear mmadsters say!)

I have made my point. Everyone knows where I am coming from. I made the point originally in defence of a point Mikemiller made. You might disagree or agree thats up to you but we do at the moment all need to do our best to save lives so I will button it.

As animal pointed out there is a good chance this awful disease will touch us all in some way.

A bit o good news maybe:

    World Health Organization (WHO)

    @WHO
    Replying to @WHO
"The first vaccine trial has begun, just 60 days after the genetic sequence of the #coronavirus was shared. This is an incredible achievement.
We commend the researchers around the world who have come together to systemically evaluate experimental therapeutics"-@DrTedros #COVID19

A long way to go I know but if the human race work together we can work miracles I'm sure...
