So you got a 1 in 3 probability right? Not revisiting that again anyway.

Chili, its only with the benefit of hindsight that you can say Warnock and Albentosa were no adequate replacements, Warnock had been one of Leeds most consistent performers FFS! (And I still think we will see him come good this season). No shrewd businessman would pass over the chance to go up when in a strong position, after all other clubs will rebuild and get stronger next season, so there is absolutely no guarantee that promotion will be achieved in any case.

Probably the reason they didn't acquire more players in Jan was that the FFP rules did not permit any additional expenditure - but also January is a poor time to buy players, clubs don't want to release the good ones or you have to pay top dollar for them if they will sell.

3 in 3..... Ouch that must sting.

So swale if the manager was backed according to your argument then the manager must be the one at fault..... Right?

Haven't got a clue what you mean by 3 in 3, but guess your trying to claim you were right.. well I'm not rising to that, the forum is bored with it and if your happy thats fine by me.

Well the manager was backed by loans and signings, so its not an IF. As for whether he was at fault, well thats a bit simplistic, after all its often the case that bringing in players in January is not an instant success, especially to replace key players.

The manager, his coaching staff and the players must bear responsibility - I'm sure mcClaren didn't instruct the players to make so many simple errors and give away the goals they did.... Or maybe it was all part of a grand plan not to get promotion.. I can just picture the instructions to Hughes "Right lad, we dont want to be in the play offs again, as soon as you can do a careless back pass and that allows a Reading forward to nip in " "Oh and keogh if that happens, do one of your headless chicken tackles and let him through and Grant, if b
