If he was still in charge and had won 4 out of 3, one being with a poor performance, would he have been slated, I don't know, (but I'm sure someone would as opinions are like ar2eholes, everyone's got one).

At the end of the day Lambert is now the manager and he's started well. That is all we actually know.
Naah I think we should stick to the 4 out of 3, as that's the only way I would have accepted his continuation

Only joshing Aucks, you know I don't mean it.

Its the new (refreshed) broom syndrome at work here now.
The debate over the ifs, buts, and maybes have been done to death now, lets move on.

OK - I'll leave it, but it would have been nice if just one person had actually dealt with the specific points I have raised, contradicting the unfair comments about Bowyer's work THIS SEASON.
Unfortunately, you have all continued to ignore the indisputable match-facts I've presented and gone back to arguing with me on points I haven't actually made.

Have to admit Lambert clearly settled for a draw tonight with Williamson's introduction 8 minutes from the end. Very much like..

I don't think he had much choice, we offer nothing going forward. That said we could have won it had Duffy's head been an inch or two lower. But when you're tighting up at the back, there's always something that suffers, We need players, ones like King and Gestede to be precise. I know. King flattered to deceive at times, but he showed what he was capable of last season.

I know it's usually a mistake to fiddle, but I would still like to see how Olsson could do in a more attacking role. He might provide the same kind of threat as King. The trouble is, Conway is not a weak link, so there's not much prospect.
As I said, on the other thread, surely Koita needed to be playing the game he did, ten yards further up.

Off-topic really, but you have to marvel at Mourinho's arrogance! Did you see this comment of his after Chelsea's latest defeat?

"One possibility is that I did an amazing job last season and brought the players to a level that is not their level and now they can't maintain it."
