Yep agree the defending deep it was a throw back to stubbsy and we aint good enough to do that. Warne should have put Taylor and Williams on in the last 15 mins and get the ball up the other end of the pitch. He does this normally and it works well so I am puzzled why he didn't this time.

I think he didn't start Taylor as this is the type of game he could easily be wound up and get sent off. But for the last 15-20 mins, his pace running at the defence could have forced a second goal. Their defence was poor on the floor and the no5, was carrying a knock and struggling, so should have to more of an advantage. We did have 20 attempts at goal, but like many games this season our decision making in front of goal doesn't match the build up play.

Really enjoyed the game which was for the most part, open, fast and we were full of energy. Plenty of possession and link up play was excellent at times only spoilt by poor finishing. I thought we dominated for most of the game and The Posh were very second best. As we all know though, it ain’t over till it’s over and we went far too deep with still 15 mins to play if you include the extra time.

This Play Off position is not a given and with 3/7 away against top opposition and 3/7 against teams still scrapping for points there’s only Bristol Rovers out of the remaining matches left that are playing for pride.

A win or draw against in form Charlton will give some relief.

Great game to watch, really enjoyed it, helped by lashings of Frog's homebrew.

Palmer & Towell excellent. Nobody really had a bad game.

I’m told that Frog’s home brew gets the 1% that domestos doesn’t get.

Absolutely! Evans always does this sort of thing when the chips are down and often salvages something from the game. Surely, after working with Evans for so long, Warne should have known this and set up measures to counter it.
But no, Evo set the trap and Warne walked straight into it.

Looking on the Posh forum they are under no illusions about how lucky they were and they felt that, whilst they were happy to get it, they felt that they were just papering over the cracks.

We’ve all been to enough games to know that these things happen. We can’t all be Manchester City ( and even they lost at Wigan). You win some you lose some. Sometimes you don’t get what you deserve and there are some games we shouldn’t have won but did. The fact that it happened so late makes it more raw, but, in the cold light of day, when you play a team in the play off zone you must not lose. They really had to win. So had their goal have arrived 20 mins earlier what would our reactions have been.
Yes we are beatable at this time, but so are the others and to suggest we won’t win another game has no foundation.

Look at the remaining fixtures for the other thread I put together I think a couple more wins will do it.
That wold put us on 72. Look at the other teams games, even if we ended up with such a disappointing return, the team currently in the last play off place would need 14 points.

Of course we could have a bad run in and miss out, but being Millers fans we assume that it is going be us.
We are in a good place & will be whatever happens. We have pride in our team again.
