The latest from down south is that all older residents from eligible care homes have been offered a vaccine wtf. Nicola Sturgeon also mentioned 'older care homes', what is that even meant to mean. Just say how many have been jabbed, it's not difficult. I took it for granted that anyone in a care home would get a jag/jab, not only people of certain ages. Scotgov have been slow outside of care homes, because of Leitch, man is an idiot. Never heard of multi-tasking obviously.

I thought that she had said something that mean only the older care home residents had been vaccinated. I wasn't sure which is why I raised the topic of numbers vaccinated. Thanks Taintedice for confirming that all care home residents have not been vaccinated. That's a big disappointment and as you say it's her advisors who actually do the work. Nicola is a very effective spokeswoman for the SNP but there are too many people who are covering their backs and it would not surprise me if she did not realise the significance of the stats she was given.

I'm hoping she means that what most people understand by care homes have had 98% of residents covered by a first jag, and is differentiating between facilities for younger people. Unfortunately there are still outbreaks and deaths down south in care homes where the residents have had a first dose, so suppression still seems to be the way forward till the 2nd doses are finally given.
