His strikers would be McBurnie and Burke.

Two boys who’s couldna score in a barrel of fannies so he’s absolutely perfect for that job...

I think they’ve been quite vocal about wanting to come straight back up again though , nae sure if McInnes could get them promoted, canna see him winning league .
Probably his best chance would be 2nd place as he’d nae manage to win the play offs .

His speciality is aiming for 3rd and finishing 4th so I'm not sure he'd handle the dizzy heights of aiming for 2nd.

I can't see him getting a job in the EPL though, surely not!
I hope he takes Joe Lewis instead of Lewis Ferguson.

He’d be the first manager to finish 6th then get promotion after 3 0-0 draws in the semis and final but winning both on penalties

Nah he’d nae get through the 3 rounds of play offs, see Europe for past seven seasons as an example. The 3rd round teams we kept getting knocked out by wouldn’t be any better than the standard of top end of the championship doon sooth.

We’re stuck with Joe Lewis , someone thought it was a good idea to give him a 5....yes 5 year deal in 2019 so at the end of this season he still has 3 years left on his deal.

To be fair he’s a decent keeper at this level but the captaincy needs to be taken off him.

I reckon that will be one of the first things a new manager will sort out. Possibly one of the new players who come in will be made captain, as that's slightly less embarrasing for Joe than effectively being stripped off it and it being handed to an existing player. There'll be such a huge turnover of players in the summer I suspect whoever's in charge will specifically bring in someone who's captain material.

I'd be happy to have him here for the rest of his contract but he's not a captain. Not with that defence. We need some experienced war criminal that's never heard of Scottish football before.

If I remember correctly the resolution to this conundrum is to make Joe Lewis the club captain but an outfield player the match captain. Seem to remember this solution from many years back.
