Apologies folks, I didn't make my point clearly. I wasn't referring to the criticism of his statements and comments, which I also found rather melodramatic in this episode, rather the slagging off of his photograph, voice etc. Perhaps I'm too kind.

Glad to see my thoughts on this particular episode of the Circle are shared by so many.
Drillerpie put my thoughts into words perfectly. I hope we don't see such a biased blatant hatchet job with a prime intention to unnecessarily stir things up amongst the fanbase.
Not sure when they do these live is there a set time? but if free and available I'd be very keen to comment live to at least provide some balance to the show.
Well connected, apparently so.
Lots of insight, yes clearly.
Pedestrian delivery, that's being kind. Painful.
Can't see anything cringe worthy on here tbh certainly nothing in comparison to the comments on that episode of the podcast. I'm hoping it's a one off.
It's a sensationalist hatchet job of an episode pure and simple, as shown from the universal feeling amongst people on this thread. However no doubt good for viewing numbers I guess.
I don't doubt he knows the game, and I agree with some of his generic points such as the style of football required to get out of this league, and even the fact that there are question marks over IB's appointment.
But, even leaving aside the basic principle of giving a bloke a chance before sticking the boot in, if you decide to post such one-sided, divisive, provocative, deliberately misleading drivel on the internet, you are going to take some flak.
Nobody forced IB to take the job, which is why the host of this podcast has the right to comment on his performance as he sees fit. Similarly, nobody forces anyone to publish YouTube videos...
I for one stand fully behind my comments.
