His story about Barnard castle was ridiculous and any person with anything about them could see straight through it but we had people on here arguing his case and defending him, now the rat has turned they are going to rally around the prime liar, better wait till tomorrow when they've read the Mail and Torygraph to get their views ...

By 'better' I mean people with integrity who are not afraid to ask the right questions. They are more than remotely better. What is it you think 'Boris and his cronies' are actually good at? Would it be killing people through neglect?
Boris and his cronies are not good at anything least of all leadership, the serious issue is that there is no credible opposition. A few people mentioned on your list may have better morals but they are not capable either individually or collectively of running or leading a government, now had you put David Milliband on your list, that would have been a different matter.

Burnham a better man than the liar could ever be Banjo. You've lost me Don, I don't think you get the point at all.

I do, an incompetent failed MP twice elected as mayor of a wannabe second city. if that’s better it’s not really saying much about the alternative.

Being elected doesn’t make you better. As proven by Boris et al

That should be as damning as it gets, but sadly they will still get the vote of many.
Yeah, even on that conservative estimate we're dealing with Harold Shipman on a scale of 200.
People who vote for that couldn't complain if they encounter a Harold Shipman in their own lives. Just as with all his robbing of taxpayers money, they're cheated out of all of their own.

Cummings threw in a grenade then has walked away before it goes off.

Was he asked to appear? Or was it at his instigation?

Interesting that Jeremy Hunt is chair of one of the committees asking the questions, having lost his position as Health Secretary to Hancock and lost out to Johnson in the leadership race.

... when the real enquiry starts Hunt will swing. He was in charge when the 2016 pandemic test was carried out. He was in place when the planning for future pandemics needed to happen. That we were totally unprepared when Covid 19 arrived is down to him (and the resources he had). It's ALL his fault. The fact that BJ et al can't run a brewery is, frankly, a secondary matter.

The ability to create a deadly virus with little expertise is exponential. Soon enough, any country in the world and any university will be able to create smallpox from nothing more than a digital genome, you can already - apparently - download the digital code on the web (or dark web), it's just a case of waiting for the technology to be able to unleash the terror.

Facebook have just done a complete U-turn and announced that it will stop banning claims that Covid-19 is man-made, citing "new" facts - which they will likely be forced to repeat in the future regards other aspects of all things related to Covid - so maybe people will now start having an honest conversation about what we could be dealing with.

Covid-19 is about as benign a pandemic as you could hope for with which to run a dress rehearsal and it's been a complete farce. We're playing a stupid game of hide and seek with it. Masks and washing your hands is about as effective as a city dweller white washing his windows and hiding under a table to survive a nuclear war. Claiming that vaccines are the answer is too early to tell and you're always going to be playing catch up with those. You need to be able to stop these viruses coming into the country in the first place, instantly close borders and stop flights. Lockdown PROPERLY if need be. If we can't do that, we're going to be in very serious trouble.
