Correct, thats all they have to do keep the away fans back for 5-10 mins let the home fans disperse then let them out. Why have they only just thought of this idea for the Well game?

My guess is they had to.

It’s a cup game and as such Motherwell are entitled to 40% of all proceeds. Dundee due to the arrangements in recent weeks are having to honour a number of free tickets, they would be due Motherwell money for those at full entry price x 40%.

So it’s likely the two clubs reached agreement on something like we don’t need to pay you for our free issue tickets and you can have away fans, maybe even let them keep the money from their own ticket sales as recompense.

No will, no drive to improve things.

I think you are right. There seems to be a good decision to allow those who didn't get to use their first ST for the St Mirren game, to use it for the Motherwell cup game. They do part of the job but then fall down by not making enough of an effort to open the SE. It is a running sore that should be addressed IMO.

I moan like **** as I do at my golf club, not because I expect perfection but they should be striving to be as good as we can be.

I'll continue to moan and be as sacarstic as possible until I see improvement or until the nail lid shut.

The state of the place, the arrogance of the stadium manager and yellow vests, the lack of communication.....not good enough.

There's been ump**** suggestions on here over the years.....all ignored.....let's see if Islays email gets a response.

I think that Islay and you and Deeranged sometimes get "the shoot the messenger" treatment. Same happens on TDB forum where guys who make constructive but critical comments about the players get criticised for being negative rather than having their complaints being countered by an opposing view.

In my email to Jim Thomson I also said to him that there was a lot of disquiet on the Dundee Football Club forums about the South Enclosure still being closed with no information from the Club advising when the Dundee supporters are going to be allowed back in.
It does not affect me if the South Enclosure is open or closed as pre Covid I sat in the Main Stand and will be going back there when it eventually reopens.
However I am happy to do my bit to try to find out when the Club are planning to reopen the South Enclosure to allow Dundee supporters to sit in their chosen stand at Dens Park.
He thinks he’s above answering to the fans he looks down on, you’ve more chance of RROS wearing a nippy mask to the match

The management of Dundee Football Club should remember that it is the Dundee supporters purchasing their season tickets and paying at the gate for home games that pays their wages. Without them they would be losing their job and picking up their P45.

Yesterday morning I received a reply to a post I had made about the same topic as we are currently discussing on the Friends of Dundee Football Club Facebook Page.
The person who replied to me told me that the reason the Dundee and Motherwell fans were being segregated on Saturday was to stop the Covid-19 virus travelling back to Motherwell. What an unbelievable post by someone who obviously has not done his homework. The City of Dundee currently has 118.3 cases of the Covid-19 virus per 100,000 people while South Lanarkshire who are 2nd top of the list has 226 casesper 100,000 people and North Lanarkshire who are 5th top of the list has 214 cases per 100,000 people.
Using this person’s reasoning for segregation at Dens Park on Saturday the Motherwell supporters should be banned from attending Dens Park as they are coming from a ‘hot spot’ area of Scotland where the Covid-19 virus appears to be out of control.
The City of Dundee are 7th bottom in the list out 32 local authority areas in Scotland.
I replied to this person’s post and explained that segregation of fans at Dens Park had been in operation for almost 40 years long before the Covid-19 virus had ever been mentioned. I have not received a second reply from this person to my explanation about segregation at Dens Park.
In my opinion this is another person who has been brainwashed by the politicians, scientists, Health ‘experts’ and MSN instead of doing his own homework on the subject.

I further added in my reply that segregation between Dundee supporters and opposition supporters at Dens Park was to prevent trouble and fighting between both sets of fans.
