The Richard Curtice/Emily Maitless comment was an attempt to inject a bit of humour into the discussion, I'm no longer bothered if my brand of humour (which is usually well received elsewhere) passes folk on here by

I'm not attempting to defend the indefensible but I'll never tire of calling out badly thought through or innocently/deliberately misleading interpretation of open source data, or of unverified/unsubstantiated claims to support a line of argument. I'm not repeating historical or recent examples but they crop up regularly

But you do have a problem with recognising when you have made incorrect statements, or made assumptions and claimed them as a fact, which later turn out to be untrue.

Not least because you make many such statements, which in the past rA and I have called out comprehensively and you have then gone into denial mode or simply ignored the facts and tried to confuse, change the subject or simply disappeared.

Plus Thicky makes several such posts in the average week, which fit that description and to my knowledge you have never called him out on any of them!

To be honest you attempt to portray yourself as an "honest broker" has about as much credibility as anything Johnson says.

Okay...you know better than all the statisticians. I know they don’t fit your ‘agenda’ and I understand your point, but the figures I’ve quoted are neither made up or ‘mine’ and you can reference any set of figures you like...we don’t come out of it all well.

If you mean Trickytreesreds, I called him out on one of the 'putting the world to rights' threads last week, and certainly more recently than I have you, despite your recent nasty foul-mouthed little outburst. You'll never change hearts and minds with a gob like yours.
