The way I see it we're all entitled to an opinion and healthy debate keeps the message board alive. What I don't understand is the victim complex some of the "moaners" have.

Someone posts a positive thread and points out the good things at our club- inevitably get shot down and labelled a happy clapper. Debate follows

Someone posts a negative thread- get called out by a "happy clapper." Debate spirals into a farce where the negative one claims they are "not allowed an opinion," "Warney's fan club are ganging up on me," etc etc. From where I'm sat reading, it's the negative ones that seem to have the biggest problem with being disagreed with and suggest some sort of establishment bullying every time their opinions get challenged. Do people really have posts deleted for criticising Warne? I mean genuine criticisms about the game, not personal abuse that has no place on any board? I've seen enough anti Warne opinions to suggest not.

My stance is I am proud of my club. I am proud of how the management team and owners care about the club, the town, the community. I am glad we don't just have some mercenary type manager who is only here to "do a job" and needs a sat nav to find the ground. I am realistic that on the budget and crowds we have, winning L1, the pizza cup, and bottom half Championship is about our level.

I get frustrated by the 10-0-0 formation we revert to on 65 mins when we're winning. I get annoyed every January by the wall of silence and lack of activity. I can't for the life of me understand why we signed Kelly at the expense of a striker who could help us in our promotion push. I'm gutted by our recent slump and the fact our performances have dropped of a cliff.

But I'm still a Miller, the positives outweigh the negatives and this season has been a great one so far. I'd be devastated if we blew it at the last hurdle and yes, tough questions will need to be asked and answered. But I could never support anyone else.

Thats my stance, agree or not I don't care. I find the vast majority of posts on this site to be entertaining and I enjoy the range of opinions. It's a good board to be on.

Lol it’s being going on for a while, personally I’m a bad loser and can bite especially when I’ve commented on a post match thread for someone to start being sarcastic without even discussing the game.

No I could never support anyone else either even if I do moan about things, if we folded (never happen) then it’s watching and helping kids games or TV games

    Good post btw

Hope you and yours are all well.

Yeah the criticism is over the top at this stage, we’re still right in there, we just need to click back into gear! Fwiw, if we don’t go up after the lead we had I think it may be hard for Warney to stay, think he might walk himself tbh.

    All the best pal!
Fantastic to hear pal good luck with the wedding. Love my Rugby league I’ll try and get over and watch a game I’ll let you know pal.
I agree about Warne I think it would be untenable.

Excellent post and exactly as I feel about things too.
It seems clear that some, probably most, of our MM posters have not been in management positions in their careers or they would realise that, in reality, things often aren't as black and white as some of their comments suggest.

    Well said Derek.

I think the trap some fall into with January spending is that if TS says there is money to spend they expect a Stockton (for example). Now if we don't get him then it looks like we have had funds available yet not used them. Slate the manager. The main issue with this is that we don't actually know 2 big factors. 1. How much money is available? 2. How much does the selling club want to allow a Stockton say to leave?

No good having 200k if they will only deal at 500k for example.

Agree about Kelly, I'm an optimist but my gut says something is off and we are trotting out excuses to hold off till the summer where he may suddenly become 'homesick' or alike. Shuffle him out the door quietly when lots of other business is spoken about. Sincerely hope I'm wrong but that's my gut.

TS says it’s there so obviously we believe him
Warney has said previously that he doesn’t want to pay over the odds if he thinks they’re not worth that amount (let’s be honest some prices that are on the heads are bloody ridiculous) and I agree with him

We can only go on what we here/see
Ffs get Kelly on pitch for at few minutes so we know he’s alive and prove you wrong
