Normally a very reasonable bloke but you think a comparison between this government and the Nazi’s and the Holocaust is fair?

I think that’s an insult to the millions who died from starvation and in gas chambers.
    I don't.

Any concentration camps, plans of ”a final solution” or genocide as of yet?

    So absurd, or ignorant/offensive, yes.
    Well said Thomas.

There are a few comparisons, this government have criminalised peaceful protests, made it more difficult (for their opponents voter base) to vote by introducing voter ID. They've stripped British citizenship from British citizens. Criticized human rights act (I think removing it, or attempting to?) And most notably similar is they blame immigrants for all of society's problems.

All things done in Germany in 1930. Who by the way, had the support of propaganda outlets to condition the mind of population....propaganda outfits similar to that as the Daily Mail.
Can’t wait to talk to my grandkids in 40 years time about how I survived the Tory’s!

Then again Starmers List has a great ring to it.

Nazism wasn't defeated in 1945. It just took it's uniform off and went about it's business in a different way.
Having lived in Israel for six months back in the 80's, I can tell you they think the same. It also explains why so many Nazis escaped after the war to many countries including the Western powers.
And it is why we are sleep walking into another major European war again.
Anyway he expressed his opinions and that is not allowed anymore because of modern peoples sensitivities on every stupid topic you care to think about.

News flash Lindenbaggie...Nazism wasn't eradicated. Harder to spot today but it is very much well alive and kicking.

Good post dubbag. I couldn’t care about what Lineker said or what he says in general. Just because he works for the BBC doesn’t mean he’s not allowed to speak or entitled to his opinion. The so called tories on here sounding fed up of this government are right on the defence of this government when this comes up.. why? No idea. If Lineker said something against the Labour party would any of them be
calling for his head? I doubt it very much.
Yet the likes of Kun-ztsberg and Fiona Bruce
the serial offenders get away with so much labour bashing. Impartiality, yeah fck right. Some muppets on this forum who have forgotten what this current party have done to ruin this country. If you’re offended by me calling you a muppet, be offended - you deserve it for the stupidity you spout on here with your short term memory.

I never vote - hate this government - not read a newspaper for at least 15 years. I support all legal immigration for much needed skills ie engineering - medicine etc. That said - illegal
Immigration appalls me and getting right out of control! No - I have no sympathy towards these dinghy people but have every sympathy for those who can’t feed themselves or heat their houses. Is Linekar helping with donations or is any other rich person? Linekar seemed happy to pocket millions more from countries he criticises?

PS - is Putin not in the same ilk as Hitler or at least trying to be? Kidnapping thousands of Ukrainian kids and bombing innocent civilians!

Ok, I should have stated "fought and died in trying to eradicate Nazism". But where exactly in Europe do you believe it is "very much well alive and kicking"? Germany, Italy and the EU?
